I've been playing since the first game and I like it. It's a fun shooter, but I never do the super competitive modes and I've never finished the story modes or anything.

Disco Elysium - really great! Highly recommended. Lots of replay value too. I played a second playthrough and wound up with very different scenes and events because of how different my stats were.
Only advice is save often and go along with what you get, don't get your heart too set on doing things a certain way | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

yeah I wish I had that advice when I played it, I got stressed to death when I met with the boss man and lost like 2 hours of gameplay. I was enjoying it to that point but never had the heart to go back cuz I hate redoing stuff in games. idk why they designed it that way, either add more autosaves or get rid of the ability to manually save entirely and make it roguelike/integrate deaths into the game

Ya i died to him the first time i met with him too. I was watching my one friend play last night and she lost so much health and morale during that meeting, it was nuts
I got a lesson very early on to save early and often because i ended up with a 1 health 1 morale build and died trying to sneak away from paying my tab during my first talk with the cafeteria manager | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

I heard that was good.
I've been playing all the old Mario, Donkey Kong, and Kirby games lately on NES and SNES and N64 | --------------------

I recently played through Final Fantasy XII on the Switch and absolutely loved it. I didn't think anything would ever topple my nostalgic love for 3/6 but I'm pretty sure this one managed it. Still trying to finish all of the optional stuff but I'm not sure if I'm committed (or reactive) enough for the hourlong boss fights at the end of the optional content.

I got a good way into XII but never finished it. Not sure why either because I was enjoying it more or less. I need to give it another go round

Last week I was playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Last month I was playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Tomorrow I will be playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
I'm determined to 100% this, even though it's getting a little silly now. There's so much content but damn have I enjoyed this game.

Steam is doing an event rn with lots of demos for upcoming games. I was gonna try to record some lets plays for it but the constant crashes i've had with other games has completely carried over and i havent been able to play more than 10 min of any of them
i'll give some super short impressions so far tho, and these are all survival/building adjacent:
- Don't Die In The West: Potentially fun but i was in the mood to jump in more so i was getting annoyed with the intro. It crashed when the fun part was going to start
- Polylithic: V cool intro, but crashed immediately. I definitely wanna check it out someday
- Mid Evil: kinda clunky and annoying, was able to keep playing like 2 minutes after it technically crashed. Needed more instructions, reminds me of some survival games i checked out in early access 10 years ago. Maybe worse.
- Under A New Sun: Fine. Felt near identical to other tropical survival games i've tried, didnt get to play long enough to see where it stands out, tho it seemed like it might have some scifi edge to it
gonna try a few more but not gonna bother trying to record since it's just gonna crash | d ( i n o s r o a ) r
