Pokemon Legends has me too, but so does Horizon: Forbidden West and Destiny 2 again since Witch Queen's out. And then Elden Ring's out this week too, even though I still don't know if I'll actually like it.

I started Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
Obviously I am a massive Banjo fan, and I've played the first 2 games many times, but never beat Nuts & Bolts. I was so upset with the game that I've stopped playing it twice, but now... for Banjo.... I started a new save file and I'm committed to doing this. | --------------------

I'm near the end of shin Megami Tensei and it made me choose between order and chaos and neutral.
But the order angels suck and want to destroy Tokyo and the Chaos group want to remake Tokyo and let all the myriad gods rule and the neutral party just wants all gods to die.
I chose chaos and killed everyone else and became God but oh boy who should come in but Lucifer himself. |
Thinking about buying it, but they have fucking 7 d1 DLCs and I don't want to support that shit.

Most of the dlc is like easy leveling up stuff which I didn't buy and I was fine. There is a single story dlc too but it ties into SMT3 which I didn't actually play and I'm already 90 hours in and wanted to play other games.

Ok I was mistaken, like 3 of these are for dlc demons you can recruit but their levels make them strictly post-game content so I also didn't bother with those.

The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe
Not sure the new content was worth $25 (although it's a great price if you've never played the original) but still a p great ride, lots of genuinely funny gags. The narrator is perfect as ever

of all the crazy directions the game goes in, I did not expect to be playing Firewatch in the middle of it |

I ended up buying this in protest when Walmart stopped doing their 10$ discount for the new Kirby game (this one was discounted)
Honestly I was blown away with how much fun it was. Stealth catching and exploring was so much fun. In the post game part now but have logged well over 40 hours and still not getting tired of it. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

After not really being able to play video games for over half a year, I decided to go treat myself by getting both a Series X and a PS5 while both were available at my store. Probably pretty dumb shelling over 1k for two consoles that aren't SUPER different, but it's still been fun.
I got The Quarry with my Series X and after how much I loved Until Dawn, I thought it was pretty great. Everything else I've been downloading with Game Pass and PS+, which have both gotten world's better since I last used them. Makes the need for buying games pretty rare. There's some great stuff on both to keep me busy for awhile. |

The Quarry was a cheesy fun time
If you're in the mood for another (but more serious) choice-based game, I just got done playing As Dusk Falls which was v solid. Think that's on Game Pass right now

I downloaded so my bf and I could play together, but I think it was the art style and lack of actual mouth movement that lost us interest. Might try to pick it up soon again though because it has gotten v good reviews.
Personally just got a PS5 that came with Horizon ZW, so I'm currently playing through the first one. Haven't been this interested in a game for a while - logged 7 hours in two days which is rare.
