Anyone with a Droid know what the fuck is going on here?
My power button is busted and has been for awhile, so I have to resort to sliding out the keyboard to wake it up and plugging it into the computer to turn it on. Apparently that's a big problem with the Droid 4 for some reason. This has nothing to do with anything, but most troubleshoots start with "Please hold the Power button for" no shut the fuck up, I can't do that you fucking asshole.
Anyway the phone froze when I was at work yesterday and I had no way of turning it off. Eventually the screen just went black. Plugged it into the charger, it wasn't dead but the phone was apparently off. Plugged it into the USB on the computer, which usually boots it back on. Instead it stays black and the green notification light on the top just stays solid (usually flashes). Even when I unplug it, the light stays on. If I put it back in the wall charger, the light turns off and it gives me the charging % again, meaning the phone is off. What the fuck?
I'm probably going to have to end up going to the Verizon store to get a replacement, but they're kind of closed right now so this is a problem. But if anyone knows a miracle fix, I would be much obliged.
I went back to my house and she went back to hers. Part of a spider web touched me as I went up the back stairs and I had to wait like five minutes for someone to open the door because I still don't have a key to that door because no one remembers to make me a copy, and then once I was inside, I changed clothes and pretty much went to bed.

Ive been using a broken droid 4 for at least half a year now.
The button works but if i slide it even a little the screen doesnt work! And often it will continue not to work until you reset the phone.
I went to the Verizon Store and they were very helpful. "I can see it's broken." Thanks. Then they put a screwdriver to the power button to try to make it work. No, it did not.
It said right there I could go to a store to get a replacement if I had a warranty, but they said I couldn't. Why the fuck not? She gave the same number that was on the Verizon page. Oh by the way, I DON'T HAVE A PHONE RIGHT NOW.
