it gets better and lots of mini games and different things that the game switches up.

Sayonara Wild Hearts

$15 is a bit steep for what's essentially 1.5 hours of gameplay (although this does seem p replayable) but goddamn was that a fun 1.5 hours. BEEEEAUTIFUL

Outer Wilds

not to be confused with Outer Worlds which came out the same year!

took me a bit to get into it but MAN I'm loving it now. The storytelling style is pretty unique, it does a really good job giving you that sense of DISCOVERY both with the landmarks you stumble upon and the bits of backstory you uncover along the way. And the design of all the planets is really well done, they're not exactly HUGE but the ticking clock the game has you on each time you explore really makes everything feel bigger

honestly at this point I'm all aboard whatever Annapurna's publishing. So far they're 4/4 for me between this, Edith Finch, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and (to a lesser extent) Gorogoa

I started playing Until Dawn recently. It's a few years old, but this is my first time, as I'm usually always behind. It's an interactive horror game for those who don't know. And it's pretty fun, the characters look exactly like the actors that voice them, it's cool. Brett Dalton from Agents of Shield is one of them. Hayden Panettiere from Heroes, is another. Anyway, it's really creepy, there are some genuine jump scares and many decisions to make that affect how the game will play out and apparently there's like a whole bunch (hundreds?) of different endings.

I feel like you need to be Einstein to know if what you're doing is going to result in good stuff or not. I looked at some youtube videos and it all went over my head. But I'm slowly learning some stuff!

I won a game! Barely! I played the whole game trying to win via a cultural victory and it felt like I was leading it the whole time, but Greece kept being so cultural and things went nowhere. I also didn't war anyone until the last 20 turns, maybe you're supposed to to get a cultural win.

Instead I won via a diplomatic win with the competitions/votes and all that throughout the game. I didn't think I was going to. Two other civs had completed everything for a science win, I was at war now with both, and they were just waiting on their space ship to orbit the earth enough... I think? Idk. I was aimlessly searching their lands to destroy their space base launch places for no reason while their ships were orbiting the planet waiting for whatever turn to win. I think? No clue the game didn't tell me when they'd win. Thank goodness for a random world congress vote.

Reinstalled Skyrim and 68 mods (with plans to find one more to install for that sweet sweet number). I wanna go through the main story and finally play/finish the Dragonborn DLC.

I won civ 6 via a religious victory! Huzzah!

I'm at 124 mods for skyrim and it is looking beautiful
