Hm, this is a good point. I'd have to re-think the math but I'm in class till this afternoon.

Off my gut though I'd think if this were the case, it wouldn't account for that big of a difference (20%+), like maybe instead of looking at someone who visited twice maybe we'd be looking more at someone who visited once. Either way I feel like someone on gen 5 is mafia.

I can't think of any killer perks that have to deal with chests in the game but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out. I believe there's an offering that will remove a chest from the game and survivors have the opposite offering to add a chest but I don't think we've seen offerings in this so far and all offerings are decided pre-game rather than the perks being used throughout the game.

The killer would have knocked it down 5% so D3 should be 42% How does 6 people visiting it over the course of 2 nights only = 42%?

Ok so star claimed a role right? I'm on my break so I only have a little bit. I'm willing to trust roles at this point because they are hard to fake and easy to be cc'd.

the 38% on gen 4 on d3 checks out based on Kyle's role. Kyle must have been the one to injure garlic so garlic's boost was 8% instead of 10. meaning stargate is almost certainly town and in all likelihood Cody went to Gen 4 on the night he died bringing it up to 38% N1 jamie 10% + N1 im317 5% (announcement perk) - N1 killer 5% + N2 stargate 10% + N2 garlic 8% + N2 Cody 10%

So to explain this

We know that Gen 4 was 38% on D3
We know that Jamie and 317 claimed working on it on N1 and were injured. We also know 317 was Ace Visconti and based on 317's perk, that announcement made his generator progress be +5 instead of +10. So on N1, gen 4 was at +10% because of the killer's -5% that led to the injuries

Now on N2, we have 3 claimed visits to Gen 4 - garlic, Stargate and Vern
Garlic was injured at this point presumably by Kyle whose perk says that anyone injured by him can only progress a generator by 8% instead of 10%
Stargate and Vern is a +10% each. There were no injures reported at this Gen on N2
10 + 8 + 10 + 10 = 38

So effectively that clears both Vern and Stargate UNLESS Cody went to this Gen on the night he died. But given that Stargate has claimed to be the one responsible for the announcement of what % a specific generator is at I think it's just as simple as Star and Vern both being Town.
