Baseball stars dropping like flies

A spot opened up in a long-time fantasy baseball league that I run (fuck cancer) for this coming season. If you are interested in finding out more, shoot me a PM, and I'll get you the necessary info.

Arizona is absolutely putting on a defensive clinic against UCONN right now. It also helps that Aari McDonald is literally on fire. She is easily the fastest player on the court.

Down goes UCONN and Paige Bueckers. Aari completely shut her down.

It'll be interesting to see if they can slow down Stanford.

When will MLS realize if they want to win hardware, and be taken seriously as a league, that they need to fix their calendar to match all the other continental and global leagues?

Anyone been watching the Soccer Euro Cup?

I assume it's not as interesting as the World Cup. Haven't had time or energy to watch yet lol.

I've seen a couple of the games so far. France/Germany was more boring than I expected. I'm sure things will pick up as the tourney goes on.

I just don't want to see Brent Burns from the Sharks go. I'm going to be nervous about that until the lists come out.

Tadej Pogacar is going to win the Tour de France by more than 5 minutes tomorrow (later today?), in what has been a very entertaining and exciting race. I look forward to seeing if Cavendish can get the all-time stage win record on the Champs in about 12 hours.

Tradition holds that you don't challenge the yellow jersey (overall leader) on the final stage, but everyone with the ability to do so wants the stage win (they all finish with the same time, so it doesn't matter in the standings). Cavendish was out-maneuvered and out-sprinted by a Belgian (Wout van Aert) who successfully defended Eddie Meryx's record.

It was a very entertaining race this year.

This first hour of SummerSlam so far is reminding me why I stopped watching WWE about 2 years ago.
