When was the last time you were in Oakland cat?

for starters, you should know that "working" in oakland doesn't mean you therefore interacted with a representative slice of the population.

i'm guessing you were at most two blocks from the lake. whoopdeshit. meanwhile, there are stretches of blocks with zero businesses on them except for a corner store on occasion that i know you didn't work at because you're white.

i'll say again that you were never in my neighborhood.

My “work experience” in Oakland was for an entertainment label based out of the lower bottoms and we setup shows all over Oakland but please try again

Depressing news from my world. Yesterday my entire left big toenail ripped off. It's nasty, but unfortunately not uncharted territory.

On the bright side, it's kind of fun to watch the things grow back.

the point, darren, is that -- well, there are actually two points. the first is that you're not a very analytical thinker, so most of your arguments revolve around appeals to authority or adhom attacks. this is why you tried to prop up your authority by claiming your wealth of oakland knowledge as an SF resident and why you're trying to attack my direct experience (as part of a scientific study, mind you) as somehow dated. and the second point is that you're somewhat of a two-step thinker, so it's easy to see you try to setup these moves. as soon as you said the thing about "within the last ten years", i knew you would be asking the question above. very transparent and predictable, as are the assumptions you'll make from what i just wrote.

you should've just taken the out i gave you. your experience is limited to young dudes "from oakland" who will pay for hennessy for the same reasons you do. but don't claim that the homeless from the poorest areas of one of the most blighted cities are buying hennessy by the boatload because that would be fucking moronic. try thinking about it.

how convenient, except you forgot that free community shows don't get liquor licenses

also, i don't think you realize how difficult travel is for homeless people.
