Of the claimed people, and the roles they've claimed, I think the town watcher (plus other actions) seems the safest to give a smash to at the moment, if you guys don't trust me enough to return the favor again.

Nick at least claimed that his kill was submitted on N3, and at that point im317 had not claimed. So, it's not a fantastic selection, but could be much more suspicious.

I don't know what to think. Why would scum target the smash holder with an ability that hurts those who hurt the smash holder. Only scum would attack them.

For the sake of posterity, here is DS telling us on D3 that he was "stopping others from stealing them" in response to his actions being used on the smash holder:

A mere 50 minutes later he doubles down on his insinuation that he blocks visitors to the smash holder, saying "I throw it at someone and it attacks their visitors for 10% and is counter to their actions" (he clarified his grammar mistake in the next post):

On D4, he changes his tune (after he knows nofo has discovered his actual role info), saying he was confused and there is a chance of "flinch":
