brian and Timmah have been selected for the duel. Please submit your five throws to the mod. Results will be posted once all throws are in.

Day 1 starts off slow, with the group unsure of what dangers they may face in the days ahead. President Dale pulls the crowd together, and helps to calm the initial tension.

"Let's play their little games" he states, "which among you would like to volunteer to partake in the games?"

"I volunteer as tribute" brian says, which gathers strange looks from the crowd, as that reference has well been played out over the past 15 years. However, the crowd decides that they might as well send the eager volunteer into the fray at the beginning.

"What is there to lose? Tell us what happens" says Christian.

The rest of the group nod in agreement. "Okay, who among you vote for brian?" asks President Dale.

8 hands slowly raise, well, not brian's, his has been up the entire time.

"Ok, we have one volunteer, who else do you guys want to pick?"

Timmah steps forward, "I'd like the chance to scissors with brian, err, I mean throw scissors against him!".

President Dale just puts his head into his hands, while the more juvenile members of the press assembled with them laugh like small school girls.

"Any one want to vote for Timmah?" he asks the crowd. Nine hands begin to raise, but Helios quickly puts his back down.

"Are you voting for Timmah or not?" President Dale asks.

"Nah, I'm good. This fellow named BYE looks like a good choice, so I think I'll go with him". Helios responds.

Again, President Dale is seen placing his head into his hands. "What a group of morons, I tell ya" he says softly to nobody in particular.

"Seeing that there are not enough remaining members of this group to top the votes brian and Timmah have received so far, they have been selected for the first night's competition. If you two would make your way across the field, I believe one of the members of the Alien Ambassador's convoy is waiting for you."

Timmah and Brian walk off across the field

"Now, let us return to the more important matter at hand. We need to determine which of us is most suspect." President Dale continues.

"I vote for greensday" says jamie "because he hasn't shown up and helped out."

"I'm right here jamie" greensday retorts.

"Why are people trying to suck more dick than me?" asks Angi, before throwing a random vote on greensday.

"WTF?" asks greensday in puzzlement.

"Yeah, people who don't want to help are no use to us!" states Lamps.

"Dude, I'm right fucking here!" shouts greensday, but it apparently falls on deaf ears.

Primate, DS, and Ahoda all make their way towards greensday, and out of nowhere a rope comes flying in.

"Thanks for the rope, umm, whoever you are?" says Ahoda.

The group throws the rope up over the nearest arm of a TV antenna tower, and they tighten the noose around greensday's neck. Then they slowly pull on the rope, lifting greensday up off the ground. As the air is slowly rushing out of his lungs, you hear what sounds like a faint whimpering noise, which quickly dies off. As his small, dog-like body goes limp, a small metal object falls out of his pocket and clangs off the leg of the antenna tower below.

Player: greensday Character: Poppy the Chihuahua Action: On Earth, you are known as Poppy the Chihuahua, and are "owned" by the TV host Nathalie Lake. Prior to arriving on Earth, you used to reside on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. Your people have always had a distaste for the Martians and their conquering ambitions, so you aim to imitate them each night to turn the humans fully against the invading Martians. Playing up Earthling superstitions, each night you will visit one person and "probe" them like is done in their stupid TV shows and Movies. As you are a small chihuahua, you pose no obvious threat to the martians or humans, so any attacks at night on you will fail. The group heads back to their residences, happy, sort of, that they rid themselves of a stupid little dog, yet unsure of what troubles the night may bring...

Day 1 has now ended. The deadline to submit your night actions is 9 PM CT on Friday night. The game will reopen sooner, if I get all actions in earlier.

Currently waiting on somewhere between 5-10 night actions. The sooner you guys get them in, the sooner we can open the game back up.

Only a couple left now. I'm heading home from work and will check back in after dinner to hopefully resolve all actions and open the game back up.
