ok just caught up on Curtis/Christian's claims and they both seem pretty sketch to me Christian's is very TOWN SHOPPA-like. A convenient non-vanilla claim which is essentially unprovable. If his posts didn't seem so town-ish to me I would strongly consider lynching him Curtis says his role is a "typical" hermit (a role that me and him basically made up for ATTWS iirc, I don't think it's been used outside that series) and then says the mods would confirm him as town? wut?? That wouldn't be typical at all. The way the hermit role has worked is that that person is protected from kills/lynches for a night/day phase. Nowhere did it ever say that the mods would confirm them as town. I'm really surprised Herm didn't call him out on this, unless I missed it The whole thing seems like a ploy by him to survive one extra day

I've never even heard of the role, but everyone acted like it was at least somewhat normal.

If I'm not confirmed and claim some bullshit then I'll be lynched without question, it'd be a terrible ploy. I think I'd just be killed tonight either way before they give me a chance to confirm it so I'm not sure it matters

personally I would've activated it last night, just to narrow down the list more, since that's clearly going to be the focus until it's resolved. And I'd be sort of surprised ASSUMING TRUTHFULNESS etc if you didn't activate it last night just to stick it to the people that have been lynching you (:

I get the numbers argument but eh. In these circumstances I probably would've activated it just to help put this list thing to bed

I don't think it'd be a terrible ploy at all. All of our days are numbered no matter what (once the last mafioso is found the rest of us will probably get killed off pretty quickly), so any extra days you can survive would be a bonus for your team

thisisbad, I agree with you about your points about Lamps. Coming into today, that's what I would have done, which is why I'm okay with your vote being where it is. But you said that you think I'm on a Mafia team with Lamps and Vernon, and Wikey (whom you've since nixed from the group), and you know for fact that one of me, Curtis or Boc is Mafia. So you really don't think I'm Mafia, or you would be voting for me over Lamps...

I'm willing to switch to Wikey or Lamps or even Jay tbh. At least we'd be hitting non-town with him, and I'm really confident Wikey is Mafia and think Lamps is on his team. There's been three huge things with Lamps that are becoming hard to ignore

Wikey>Lamps>Jay for me if we aren't focusing on the list today. Then I activate and it's a 50/50 on the list tomorrow

It's called a Hermit but it just acts like a tree stump, it says nothing about tree stump in my role. I've just had it in my head that a hermit is a tree stump all game because of the role

I've been calling Wikey scummy all game long, I suggested Lamps yesterday when he was "dying" - even went through all the strikes against him, and I suggested Jay today as well.

But the fact is...one of Curtis or Boc is Mafia.

Right, but I don't know what a hermit is or does, but if you had said "it's just like a tree stump", I'd have known what you were talking about. A hermit is someone who stays in and doesn't go out much.
