I'm watching Elena of Avalor

It has this epic prologue that should've been its own movie before this. Basically, a sorceress invades Avalor, kills Elena's parents (and after that, Elena's sister and grandparents are put in a magic painting by the court wizard to hide them), and the sorceress tries to kill Elena but she fails because Elena has a magic amulet (if you've ever seen Sofia the First, it's that amulet that Sofia has) that sucks her into itself to protect her. Everyone's frozen in stuff for over 40 years until the wizard finds out how to free them, then they defeat the sorceress.

This pilot sped through that story in a little montage and now this actual series is about Elena being crown princess and learning how to rule, which is fine, but like!! I have so many questions. I think they're showing the prologue movie in the fall, but I'm impatient.

We enjoyed "The Killing" ... based off a Danish series of the same name. It was on AMC for 2 seasons, and then Netflix picked it up for the last season.

It'll be an easy watch.

I just finished Boardwalk Empire.

Batman v. Superman Extended edition.

I... had fun with it! Ya it was shitty, but I was drunk and my friends and I were making fun of it. Too many dumb dream sequences, dumb reason for fighting, dumb reason to stop fighting, Eisenberg was HORRIBLE! Batfleck was overhyped, Wonder Woman was awesome.

Sing Street

From the guy who made Once. Great movie with memorable music! Highly reccomended
