I debated staying up for Talking Dead but figured I should probably sleep. I dunno what the hell I missed cause everywhere I've seen wtih TWD threads are talking about that more than the actual episode. Anyway, here's my random ramblings about the show.

Episode was alright, but I'm..... not really sure how to feel about this whole sickness story arc. It's interesting that there's another unpredictable threat out there that isn't zombies or psychotic humans. But still.... maybe it's the sociopath in me but I want to see people get eaten in a terribly brutal fashion, not die by hacking on their blood in their sleep cause they have the flu. C'mon son.

Glenn and maybe Lizzy will survive (Have a feeling she's going to be Carl's love interest since the Carl/Beth flirtmance just stopped between seasons for no reason), think all the other sick people will die horribly. Herschel probably doesn't have much longer to live either after that speech he gave, unfortunately. Sasha will die and push Tyreese even further into badass mode, losing everyone he has ever loved.

Unrelated to the sickness, but Bob is probably going to die on the way back to the prison too cause LOL NO MORE THAN ONE BLACK GUY AT A TIME. Although I hope I'm wrong, he has potential to be a good character.

Carol killing Karen/Random Guy #3 is.... damn. Really looking forward to seeing what is going to happen to her once that becomes common knowledge. She'll probably be dead soon too.

So yes, a lot of dead people to come if my senses are correct. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a huge body count this season to make up for the hugely disappointing "war" from the last season finale.

Oh shit was not expecting that. Loved the character development this episode had to offer. A break from the prison was a breath of fresh air. This show needs to get out of the prison soon!

The break from the prison was great. Good episode. Really interested to see what happens to Carol with her on her own. Run in with the Governor maybe?

rip in peace sam and ana though, was hoping they'd live and join the group. I liked them :(

The Walking Dead always seems to find a way to kill off characters that I either like or seem like I may like. Fuck this show.

That felt like a very classic Walking Dead episode. Good character stuff, and new, abandoned locations with some creative zombie encounters. I usually love episodes when they go off to these different places. AND an episode ending montage! Which I'm a huge sucker for

Really all six of the major players this week got some good focus. Rick/Carol/Daryl/Tyrese/Michonne/Bob. Everyone had something going on, and you can tell that those moments and interactions will continue to grow throughout the season and not just be dropped after this episode ended. Hopefully they keep with that and get the show to where it should be really

If I had to guess I'd say the dude they found is still alive and runs into Carol next week

Daryl had a green rock at the end of the episode. Do you think that maybe he was going to give the rock to Carol???

PREDICTION. Not based on any spoilers or anything

I don't think Hershel's gonna survive tonight :( . But THE OLD BULL has survived many things that I thought he wouldn't, so who knows. This episode just seems like a Hershel send off to me

Thought for SURE that this would be Herschel's swan song before the episode and even moreso during it. Even after the attack I was expecting him to suddenly start coughing up blood while he was alone quietly with Caleb's dead body. He's definitely not out of the woods though. Think he'll be dead soon enough. Although I'm rooting for him.

Episode started out extremely slow but damn did it pick up. Looks all the redshirts are finally dead at last. Hopefully the whole sick bullshit is done too now that they got the medical supplies. It did make a tense climax, especially with Glenn who I did start to think was done for, but it's run it's course. The zombie wave with Carl and Rick was crazy, let's see some more of that.

Governer's back, oh shit! Kind of expecting him to track Michonne and Herschel and maybe kill off Herschel.

Yeah I agree with all of that. I thought Hershel would start coughing early on, or thought he'd reveal to Maggie that he was bit sometime at the end then kill himself or something. Him and Michonne being outside the fence with The Governor will clearly spark something

I imagine the sickness plot is done now and I'm glad for that. It didn't drag on toooo long really even though I felt like it at times. But it was all worth it for this conclusion (if it is) IMO. The last half of this episode was pretty intense

That's the exact kind of shot that I was expecting with The Governor's return, but I'm really surprised it came this early. I thought for sure it'd be the midseason finale. I'm glad it wasn't predictably timed and came out of left field at the end here

lol the end heartpounding governor theme pretty much ruined his reveal. I guess they didn't want to go for the subtle approach when they panned towards him. Either way definitely a tense second half, I really hope the sickness is done, looks like the prison stuff might be coming to a close soon.
