If you have a psvr I cant recommend Ace Combat enough. Dog fighting in VR is amazing

I’ve had the PSVR stuff for a little while now but never really messed with it because I fucking HATE having wires everywhere, which perfectly describes the VR set up. But I had some people down last night and they saw the box sitting there and wanted to play it so we got it all hooked up and I bought a bunch of random games and it was a blast once we got used to everything. Not gonna lie, it was MAJOR caveman staring at fire for the first time shit the first time I put the helmet on. As soon as I woke up I put the helmet on and joined a bar game long and thrashed some Indian guy at air hockey while refusing to speak to him. I shouldn’t do it because I lost like 400 hours to it last year but I’m super interested in Skyrim VR now.

Lol. I understand this completely about the wires. My sons got me a PS4 for Christmas before this past one. And they got me the VR setup with it also. I hadn’t played video games in about 10 years prior to that, so I had to knock the rust off for sure. But the VR was pretty cool except that I get motion sickness fairly easy. And it’s a situation where I can sometimes feel it coming on but then sometimes it’s like flipping a switch. I get a nasty migraine like headache that lasts 3 or 4 hours. So it’s really not worth risking. But certain games are fine, I just never know which ones will set it off. Anyway, about a month after I got it our dog chewed one of the VR cables into, so problem solved.

But the wires thing was maddening.

Yeah, that sounds cool.

Skyrim VR stinks unless I’m doing something wrong. You use the left move controller to like click and teleport where you want to walk and that just doesn’t work with this game. And to turn you click square or circle on the right move controller to turn ninety degrees at a time. I don’t think I landed more than one hit on those first two guards during the escape.

Probably going to use my once per account digital refund on it since it cost so damn much.

Started playing Legends of Runeterra and been having a blast

Rocksmith is really fun and really good at making you think you can play an instrument. I can’t see myself ever actually like retaining a song that I learn in this way but maybe I’ll surprise myself. There are tons of little games to play that teach you the fundamentals of playing bass or guitar and all the exercises you need to get comfortable navigating the fret board without starting at it. The game is also dynamic and adjusts on the fly to how good you are doing. If you get to where you’re hitting every note on the easiest setting it will ramp up to the next difficulty in the next section until you’re at the top level. And if you blow it, it will readjust to the easier level.

I wish I had been playing this since 2014 instead of wasting time being good at Rock Band drums.

Mount & Blade 2 is coming out next month so I've been playing Starsector, which is essentially Mount & Blade in space.

This shit is literally like crack, I don't get hungry, I don't get tired, all I do is play this game.

Did you enjoy it? You try the multiplayer at all? I really enjoyed it unless you got stuck with an idiot.

I’ve heard they are doing a DLC for multiplayer. Hopefully inject some life into it.

I hadn’t played the multiplayer and haven’t even beaten half of the game. I play games sparingly unlike I used to. I have so many unfinished games it’s quite sad. But, what I have played so far has been very good and glad they made it and waited for the switch.

I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online some more lately but mostly just waiting for New Horizons to release.

I just began playing the new Animal Crossing. They had a early release and I had already fully purchased the game. So I went ahead and got it. Pretty fun game to kill time
