I actually really like that, but I'm a terrible person to advise on online dating. What site/app are you using? I tried OKC and POF but they both went poorly and the girls I met through there ended up being awful enough to give up trying more.

I've had Tinder for awhile, but haven't pursued anything cause nobody I've met on there is local.

haha yeah, OKC and POF for my broke ass right now. Worth a shot right now anyways, but we'll see. I've reached out to 5 girls so far, and 3 have responded so far... all of whom said "sorry, but I'm not into brown guys" in some way, shape or form.

Umm what. Could have just ignored it or said, sorry not into you.

Maybe I should lower my standards, haha.

An incredibly rare and weird sleeping disorder. When you're on the verge of falling asleep while resting, instead of falling into a sleep your mind starts generating these really loud noises that you start hearing that starts to gradually build. It started off as this light clashing noise, which made my head twitch every time it happened. Didn't understand what was going on at first but as I got more rested, it got more intense. And then it just sounded like a room of cymbals going off and my entire body went into this paralysis where I couldn't move, open my eyes or say anything while this was happening. And my heart was racing like a fucking rabbit. I seriously thought I was gonna die. I looked it up and apparently it has no reason for happening, no cure and it tends to be reoccurring. I can't wait to go to bed tonight.

I had this again last night with what sounded like a cassette tape rewinding, but amped up about 10x it's normal volume. I foolishly tried to sleep again after I shook off the paralysis, only for it to happen again with what sounded like a small child singing.

I am never going to sleep again.

I'm not great at catchy headlines but just FYI from a woman's POV... Say a lot of stuff in your bio intro that makes you sound kind and not like a jerk, don't put a picture of your dog (no one wants to date your dog), and keep trying. 5 is not a lot and a lot of girls will expect you to contact them instead of vice versa.

Also I would ditch OKC. POF has a meet me feature and I usually only messaged girls who I had a mutual match with. That way they will see what you look like and decide if they want to talk to you or not. Shallow as fuck, but it'll filter out a lot of lost causes.

I'd say Tinder too but 90% of the girls I match with on there ignore me for some reason. I think that app is so fast paced and every guy swipes right every reasonably attractive girl so it's pretty much back to competing with the rest for a response anyway.

Yeah, I've focused my attention more so to POF for now, and I fully expect to be the only one to be sending messages haha. I doubt guys get much, if any messages from girls.

I got messaged first a few times. The two girls I ended up going out with from there were two who messaged me first. You just have to have a winning profile and a really impressionable first picture. And obviously don't expect 10's to since the minute they log on, they have to sift through about 5000 "hey" and "what's up" messages.

You'd think 10's would know what they are getting themselves into on these sites, haha. Besides, I'd be weary of any 10 on a site like POF anyways.

I think most of them sign up for the ego boost/compliments honestly.
