i have over 100 hours already and am on my first new game plus. went BE the first time, now GD, will do BL and then BE other path. beyond that i have not planed out yet.
GD ALL DAY SON
finished GD and got some answers. close to the time skip on BL now. BE E side next. toughest level? for me it is Marianne paralogue hands down. was worse the first time as not only did i not know what to expect, i had basically not used her at all.
I hooked my PSVR back up to my new TV, it's been collecting dust since I disconnected it from my old one. I... kinda missed it! I redid the furniture in my livingroom and got rid of my extra couch a couple of months ago so I have a lot more space for movement and it makes it a bit more practical to play. Main influence in doing this is that I decided I really want to play that Groundhog Day VR game.
Picked up two other ones in the meantime; Vacation Simulator, which is the sequel to Job Simulator, and No Man's Sky VR. I never played No Man's Sky nor did I get into the hype but I heard it's super fun in VR so I have to give it a shot. I haven't really played it yet though aside from fucking around and deciding I wanted to play a more silly game to get back into the swing of things, that being Vacation Simulator. Very fun! I like how all the different areas link together as opposed to just being four separate cartridges having nothing to do with each other. Feels more like a game and less like a demo like Job Simulator did.
I've flirted with buying the PSVR so many times... post again when you've played No Man's Sky VR with impressions. Now that they've fixed the game, I bet playing in VR would be amazing.
I've played for about a half hour so far and... it's definitely pretty impressive. I don't know much about this game at all and tbh, I'm struggling to figure out how it all works but that's more on the mechanics than the VR. If you understand the game, it'll be a blast. All the menus are attached to your left and right wrist, so pulling your wrist towards you and poking around at a screen makes you feel like fucking Buzz Lightyear. I haven't fixed the aircraft yet but just sitting in it and messing with the controls in it looks and feels really cool.
Only thing I don't like is the movement, which is something VR games haven't really perfected yet. You just point at a space and you teleport there. It kind of takes immersion out when you move like that, but I guess it's good for me as I get VERY motion sick over games like Creed where you move your arms back and forth and move in that direction.
Just for you Zersch, I recorded a video of me flying the aircraft for the first time. Think I need to adjust my PS4 camera as it wasn't responding to my left hand turning properly, but other than that, that was nauseatingly fun. Also enjoy Mr. C barging into my house to let me know my mom is on the phone with him.

By literally like a minute and thirty seconds in I was sold on getting the PSVR if only for this game alone. When you got into space I was like "so can he just fly towards that planet in the distance and will eventually enter its atmosphere and be able to land?" Seems that way.
I might go grab this all tomorrow. Gotta make sure I've got enough room for the set up though. Will probably have to move everything to the living room.
Pretty much yeah. I realized after I finished that I could speed up and autopilot towards a planet I see and then immediately ended up getting massacred by drones.
Been looking forward to this one for a while and just beat it. Pretty short, but most pure VR games are at this point in time sadly.
Cute little game though! My only gripe aside from the length was the voice acting sounded nothing like any of the actors from the original movie. This mainly only applies to two characters, but alas. I do like all the little call backs to the movie though. And I actually really liked the mini games even though the reviews are ripping them apart. The interactivity was VERY bad at first, but after adjusting my camera, everything worked pretty much how I expected it to. The only thing I got stuck on was the guitar because I'm terrible. The game as a whole reminded me a lot of Life is Strange where you constantly rewound as Max to have slightly different conversations with better results.
I'm a big fan of the movie though and this was definitely a great little expansion to it. It captured the feel from the dialogue to the musical cues.
I did stream the first half hour of me playing this. Meant to do a full one but eh. I'm gonna try to do PS4 streams to the FE Plays channel a little more frequently.
