Why would he mention Mal at all though?

I guess it’s possible he tried to keep him alive by outing himself and didn’t know about Mal’s voting power at that point. Is that accurate?

Mal was a lynch option that day. Jamie might have tried to save him by “clearing” him of being the baby.

Wikey already died at the point Jamie outed as the mother tho

I looked back and yes this is very plausible.

Mal did claim he had the only vote before Jamie posted his claim, but later Jamie asked Mal if he killed Kyle and it turned out Jamie missed Mal’s post about being the only vote.

Jamie claiming his role was VERY odd when he was clearly 3P with a non-town wincon, AND a killing ability. So it’s very plausible he did it in an attempt to clear baby Mal I guess....

Yeah but maybe he was still trying to save his family member? Didn’t make much sense that he outed himself just to save “town” Mal from being a lynch?

here’s a plausible sequence of events:

- Wikey dies. Jamie finds Mal and gets new wincon.
- Mal is sussed as lynch option after possibility of Vern/Rod/mafia all killing Wikey and the potential that Mal ended up eating Farlig.
- Jamie outs family status as a way to save Mal by “clearing” him of baby and trying to convince us that the family isn’t a threat.

If Vern was third party, why would he bother wiping out Jamie when that’s an easy person to hide behind in a lynch? I think Vern is town vig and Mal is baby. Final answer.
