Usually I can at least sort of get it but when i tried them they genuinely didnt taste edible. The time I ate a mouthful of sand on a dare as a kid tasted WAY better depends on the brand the ones from trader joes are good, my gfs family sends us the ones from korea where they do alot of seaweed snacks because its a cultural thing and those ones are like 20x better and come in big sheets like the size of a piece of paper Normal people use that “paper” to make sushi (:

It's salty unless it's wasabi flavored in which case it's got a nice spicy flavor to it. You chew it but it dissolves pretty quickly

My gfs parents are coming to the us so maybe they'll bring some with them and if they do I'll send you a pack

the one i tried was not salty and also was the taste of dirt and ash inside of my mouth... only, again, dirt and ash both taste better based on my memory of eating them both when i was 3

i wouldn't mind trying an allegedly good one though. I can accept that I might have had a bad one

One time when I was a kid my dad was laying down asphalt for our driveway to smooth it out and make it slightly longer, he had his friends over helpin and they were smoking cigarettes and shit. Anyways this was a hot summers day in East Texas and so i rushed to go grab what I thought was my Coke can and I instantly downed it


Only to find that it was not actually MY coke can, but actually filled with cigarette ashes. It was the worst thing ever.

Seaweed on the other hand, definitely does not taste like ash.
