Vlady shouldn’t have been vanilla with sock dying unless KC is ignoring the game rules, correct?

Here is a point against vlady.

If Sock tried to Vanilla vlady last night it wouldn't work.

If vlady was Vanillaised the night before he would be told at the start of last day phase (like Ben was told)

When was Bryce told?

Point is, vlady is trying to claim he was Vanilla when last night began. Which contradicts what happened to Ben. Ben was told at the start of the day phase. To me this means vlady is lying about being a vanilla and he's the one who killed Sock. But he wants you to think there is another killer out there while he can continue killing.

Like vlady doesn't necessarily have to be Cult. There's still an SK role that hasn't flipped. But from my POV vlady has to be lying about not being able to kill anymore.
