Giants just traded Denard Span, Christian Arroyo + few others for Evan Longoria. Not feeling too hot about it.

He's a stud with solid (albeit declining) defense.

Yeah but he had arguably the worst season of his career this year.

Although I guess we do best when we’re a team of scrappy dudes so we’ll see.

Not true at all. He was very good last season and won the GG.

I’m talking offense, not defense. His OBP was comparatively bad.

His .OBP is fine. There was nothing around him last year and his .OBP was .318 in 2016 and .315 in 2017. THere's nothing to worry about.

The Twins signed Fernando Rodney and picked up some RP to stash in the bullpen in the Rule V draft. World Series here we come!

Twins signed Fernando Rodney and Addison Reed to shore up the bullpen. Not sure how I feel about the signings, but they can't be worse than what they threw out there last season.

I'm still waiting patiently for the news on Darvish. The Twins have never been linked (seriously) to a Free Agent at that level before, so it's strange to think they actually have a chance.

Rodney sucks so enjoy that roller coaster. Reed is pretty solid though.

He's in decline and I think the park will sap his power numbers. I would expect a bump in doubles though.

Here's a novel idea Scott, no one wants to pay the outrageous contracts you promised your clients. JD Martinez can hit but he cannot play the field to save his life. He's not worth more then $20 mil per year and even less for an NL team. It's not a tanking problem, it's an agent over pricing this players problem.
