well that Betty story was awfully depressing :///
really intrigued to see what they'll do with Don in the finale, I like the setup so far. And I'm really happy that Pete/Trudy are getting back together. For some reason though I have a feeling this airline job is gonna fall through somehow. I mean as far as we know the only confirmation he's had is from a drunk Duck | |

Finale was good, but I think I expected a bit more. Would've liked to see it end on a montage tbh. That would've worked really well for this show
That said |
Don's last phonecall to Betty was one of the most heartwrenching scenes of the whole show. The way he blurts out "Birdie" through his tears hit me hard
Don's last phonecall to Peggy was a great scene too. Would've liked to see them end on better/closer terms but I'm glad there was some amount of closure at least |

hi I'm finally finishing. I once again forget so much that happened in the first half of this final season
I left off finishing the mid season premiere. Episodes 7 and 8 were just okay. Glen was dumb as FUCK as always!
Also yes @ these quotes

last night's episode was the funniest in a while
"WE HAVE A PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE PROBLEM!"
and
"Can't believe you two have the balls to walk back in here after the way you embarrassed yourselves"
were so great |

They took the last run of episodes in a...different direction that I might've guessed. For Don at least
I saw the image of Don at the commune all over the place and assumed it was the last shot of the series, so I was kinda eh on knowing it already and having it end that way. BUT THEN they hit us with that Coke ad, which I thought was absolutely genius. Just when it looks like Don is a bit happy and when he cracks that smile, we learn that he took his experience there and ended up using it for a widely successful campaign. I thought that was so great, the fact that he can't really change and that this is who he is/what he's good at
His phone call with Betty was great. Peggy's could've been better. I would've loved more Don/Peggy closure overall, that was sorta the heartbeat of the series for me so that was a bit disappointing. I'm really big on LAST MOMENTS in shows, specifically between characters with long histories, so the fact that I can't remember the last Don/Peggy, Don/Roger, or Don/Pete moment is :/ to me. But oh well. I do love that Pete grew a lot and got back with Trudy, and I really loved his final moment where he was nice to Peggy since he was such an asshole to her in S1
Vry good show overall and a satisfying last season, I'll miss it |

I saw 2 or 3, maybe 4 episodes...I think?!
Was playing LA Noire at that time and I knew that one of the actors from the show (aaron something (: ) was the face and voice behind cole phelps (the protag in the game) and so I gave the show a try. I kinda liked the vibe you got from it, that 60's flare, business-men, the advertising branch, degrading women, that suit and tie shit...and don't forget the hat - it looked okay really and was entertaining for a while. But somehow it became about women issues a lot from what I recall. I cbf'd that drama so I stopped watching and never got back around to it. |
hahaha, I can hardly recall writing that....anyhow, now I "love" the show. just started with season 5. I can't stop watching.... | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
