And I can't change that. But it doesn't mean we weren't robbed.

lol, well, here's the thing. It happens to almost every team once or twice a season where a call goes against them in a crucial point of the game. Part of the game, shit happens. Ultimately it doesn't mean squat. Patriots are still making the playoffs, and going to get eliminated.

It's funny, some of my friends are Patriot fans and even they are still going on and on about this call, like it's going to change anything. When it happens to other teams fans are pissed, but are over it the next day. Not Patriot fans, lol.

There were bullshit calls towards both sides. There were a few questionable calls that went against the Panthers that could've either extended their drives or stopped the Patriots on theirs. It's just a part of the game sometimes. But all anyone remembers is the last call

It's like the Fail Mary game last year. Literally the only thing anyone was talking about was how the Packers got robbed but...there was an arguably equally bad call that went against the Seahawks earlier in the game which extended a Packers drive which went for a TD (it would've been 4th down if not called). So the Seahawks never would've had to throw that pass in the first place if the game was called perfectly.

And I don't wanna hear Pats fans bitching about questionable calls when there was that retarded batted ball call that went against Miami in our game against you. Cry me a river ok!!!!

It's a part of sports. Whether it's football or basketball or baseball. It happens.

Try having the league (yes, the LEAGUE - NBA, not NFL though) apologize to your team on behalf of the referees for missed or blown calls in the final seconds of a 1 point game. It happened three times last year to the Raptors. Obv. they suck so no biggie, but if it happened to any big name team people would be calling for the refs heads. Bet you didn't even hear about this though, even though these apologies were posted on NBA.com last season.

In the immortal words of Jeffrey Fernandis, "Its like sports, you play a game and a team might play horribly all game long, but still win, in the end, they got the 2 points and the other team didn't."

"3. Bill Belichick will have something special for Wes Welker. The last thing Belichick and the Krafts want is for the Broncos and Peyton Manning to come into Gillette Stadium and leave with a victory that features Welker in a starring role. A Broncos win would be bad enough. But for Welker, the former Pats receiver who refused to take a contract extension in 2012 and forced Belichick to pay $9.5 million on the tag at a position where he hates to spend money, to rub it in the Patriots’ faces as well? I can’t see Belichick standing for that. Cornerback Aqib Talib and his 80-year-old hip isn’t great against small and shifty receivers. So expect Belichick to either put Welker in a tight bracket, knock the stuffing out of him off the line, funnel him inside to the hard-hitting Brandon Spikes, or throw a curveball by placing receiver Julian Edelman on him—or all of the above."

That'd be crazy. Putting Edelman on Welker. I really hope Welker gets shut down.

Up 16-3 in the first half over the Panthers. Lose 20-16.

Sigh. Sometimes I almost wish they were just straight-up bad rather than perpetually ALMOST GOOD like this. IT'D BE LESS HEARTBREAKING! I don't know how many times this season they've had the game in hand and then just found ways to choke it away. I never feel comfortable with any lead

I didn't think the Panthers would pull it out, not the way they played the first half.

I also think the Packers should have gone for it on 4th and goal from the 2 yard line in OT. Lacy can get that yardage, that was huge opting for the FG.

I can't even imagine being a player and playing a full 5 quarters only to end in a tie hahaha. Its one of the rules I hate about the NFL because no game should ever end in a tie with such a small amount of games played in a season compared to other leagues.

Their OT should not end unless there is a winner. I've never really liked the fact that if the receiving team scores on their first drive, the game is over. Give the other team a chance.

Yeah but you have to score a TD now for it to end on the first possession. If you just score a FG the other team does get a chance. I think that's pretty FAIR. If they did it like college football it'd take forever to finish

I kinda like ties tbh, just because of their NOVELTY (: They only come around like once every 5 years on average. And it's especially hilarious seeing it happen to the Packers

sorry, that's what I meant, scoring on a TD. I still don't think it's fair the game ends on that. Other team should get a chance.
