They should bring two back from redemption and then not continue redemption throughout the merge. That'd be cool

I wanna see a season with a swap every round

I thought Monica was going for sure. Previews got me. Also thought Brad was going to lose the duel. Guess the previews weren't as shitty as I thought.

LOVED that episode. Best episode of the season and maybe the best episode of the last two seasons. Everyone got a confessional I believe (maybe not Gervase). The boot was a tad bit obvious but I really liked them mocking Laura B's scrambling. Laura B is super annoying. I really don't like her at all.

Also really loved the hardships of survivor. It just felt like an actual survivor episode, it also felt like there was less time wasted on redemption island which was nice. More time at the camp.

But of course they had to ruin the episode by having a God awful challenge. Perhaps that is the worst challenge in survivor history? I am going to have to think hard to think of a challenge worse that. Waterslide cool as shit. Maybe include it in an obstacle course. What should we have after the Water slide? Uh... how about a ring toss that is really easy. BRILLIANT. I was just like what... this is shit.

Rooting for Tyson. Liking Vytas and Ciera too. Super bummed Candice lost. Wanted John or Brad to lose. She got the short end of the stick big time being the last minute replacement... but atleast RC wasn't on the show.

The waterslide should've been a relay. Like once one scores the next person races to the top and immediately goes. They could've just had a stack of rings at the bottom. Would've been far more interesting

I think the challenge was dumb but they had to do something to give the rookies a chance! I can imagine the conversation now.

"These fucks can't win anything what should we do to help out?"

"Play a game a horse shoe with a pointless waterslide?"

Also I just want to punch Laura B in the face. All her facial expressions are just awful. I am sure she will make some amazing gifs but......I would have rather seen her go.

Any challenge that comes down to a beanbag/ring toss type deal is always lame. I got so sick of the Malcolm vs. Reynold toss duels last season. They can be edited to be a bit intense but most of the time they're meh

Though I did love the Phillipines one with Malcolm vs Artis vs Jeff Kent. Where they had to swing those huge bags towards the pots. That ending where Jeff's bag misses but then swings backwards out of no where and nails the pot was so great

I really hope Laura M beasts it up on redemption, I think the confessionals this episode kinda alluded towards that.

Ciara blows numerous challenges in a row and is still on her tribe
Laura beasts Ciara in all of those challenges and gets the win from her tribe. Then they finally lose and she's the first voted off of it

I feel bad for those people who are voted off in order to send someone else home. It's something I don't like about RI but at least it shakes things up. I just disagree with the antics involved with blood vs water/RI, but it's just part of the game. Still sucks though. =\

But seriously..I just hope Laura B's first confessional next episode is something about her stirring the pot. Jeff called it before the season - she has awful self-awareness and will do worse in this game than she thinks. I was REALLY hoping \to see her voted out of both the tribals she attended, like Patrick said.

Also, Laura M's assessment was wrong - Aras also never knows what it's like to get his torch snuffed.

And what the heck at her being married and rubbing down Aras like mad?!?! >:(

And with the swap thing, in a season like this, I like the separation so they don't just immediately run to their loved ones, but I was really hoping to see what alliances would be made with/without their loved ones. It would have been a whole different dynamic.

I think if there was a time to do a One World type twist, this would have been a great season to do that!\

HOPING FOR A SWAP!!! But also hoping it doesn't screw anyone significant over.

A One World type camp would be awesome. They should do a Faux-Merge!
