I watched that documentary HBO did on Slenderman and the two girls who stabbed their friend and blamed it on the story. It was okay I guess. The victim and her family didn't participate so it almost felt weirdly sympathetic towards the other two. Which I guess they were just kids but still. There was an "expert digital folklorist" that was on screen for five seconds and I will hate him for the rest of my life because of his job title. Slenderman is dumb.
I enjoyed a few series dealing with Slenderman but this nonsense put an end to almost all of them. Marble hornets did finish at least.
I... liked it? It was par for the course based on the rest of Daniels' stuff I've seen, such a weird concept but they made it work and somehow made you connect with the characters a bit

Best parts were definitely in the middle, with all the 'bonding' between Hank and Manny, especially the bus scenes. And the conversations about farting and masturbating. Almost profound in a way (:
I was actually kinda hoping there'd be some kind of overarching MESSAGE to it at the end, just because it'd be pretty great if they could find a way to deliver one with this premise. But if there was one it wasn't really clear to me
The Troll movie has been on on a loop for the past 2 weeks. I hate my life
