I finally watched Birdman.

I hadn't really read any reviews or anything before, not even the ones here. I just remember people saying it was good.

Spoiler tag for people who are like me, and take forever to watch things.

just finished watching the graduate (1967) with my dad.

pretty good! it was cool to see the actual "mrs robinson" and the story

dustin hoffman was clearly like 30-35 supposedly as a 21 year old and his costar was supposed to be twice his age and was mayyybe 40 so that was kinda funny though

Patriot's Day

That was...HEAVY!

It was weird to watch. I was glued to my tv during the bombing and the manhunt when it was happening so it was really kinda strange watching the same events actualized from the ground. The murder of the MIT officer was especially brutal

It was really well done though. They did a great job of capturing everything accurately

To nobody's surprise, I finally saw

Spoiler+

I have mixed feelings. It started out so good, I loved the first hour. But then it dragged, it was way too long! and spiraled into ridiculousness, but all the cameos in the park scene were pretty good.

Saw La La Land today! It was ok! It'll win best picture which is a shame! Much better movies this year. Hell, there were even better musicals. Still, pretty enjoyable and Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are nice to look at

I kind of agree. It was good but not great, and it was pretty.
