Oh try Tasty Burger 317, it’s good and open super late which was perfect when I was in college. I have no idea where you actually live in MA but they’re all over Boston and Cambridge

It's pretty extreme guerilla advertising to be closed on Sundays and lose that business if you are just pursuing the dollars.
It's tough to find a company you might not have some issue with, but when a company goes out of its way to let you know how it feels and you don't agree with it, that's very different.
There's an awesome zombie short story about how the dead come back to life to haunt the folks who caused their deaths. Politicians have tons of zombies following them around. The main character picks up a zombie of a little girl and tries to figure out what he did to deserve it. I'll have to look it up- it's a good story.

Is being closed on Sunday the only thing that has people up in arms? I honestly don't know because I don't pay attention to stuff like that. Is denying the owners of that business the right to their religious beliefs that important to people. Is there also not some sense in pandering to the majority religion in the US as a business and getting tons of free press in the process? (70 to 75% of the US population identifies with some form of christianity the last I heard)
Their terrible cow ads make them ire worthy. The fact that they serve ultra processed, hyper grown poultry based spam makes them hate worthy. Being closed on Sunday doesn't change my opinion.

The Five Guys in Tucson, AZ, were decent.
The Five Guys in Little Rock, AR, are pure garbage. Which is surprising, because you'd think a national chain would have a bit more consistency, but every time I go in there, it's garbage. There are no shortage of counter-style fast burger joints around here that are significantly better than Five Guys. |
If you live in a college town you probably have stoners working to make some cash and they don't give a fuck. |
That's just fast food period. |
I agree although I have found certain fast food chains in my area really work on customer service and it's a nice feeling. |

I love Freddy's, but I understand why you don't like it. It's different, it's a steakburger.

I hate the tiny fries. I hate the charred beyond recognition thing they call meat. The sauce stuff is pretty good, though. Custard is good too.

You must have somehow missed the whole Chick-fil-a controversy with the donations to anti-same sex marriage groups, along with regular donations to orgs like Dobson's Focus on the Family (which pushes creationism, abstinence-only education, etc.). So yeah, there is pandering to the majority religion and there is pandering to the extreme whacko side of said religion.

All of Culver's food is sooooo heavy, but I'd eat at one a lot if there was one where I lived. Their custard is awesome.
When I lived in Arizona, if I ever had the urge to go hang out among 'my people' (i.e. people from Minnesota and Wisconsin) all I had to do was go to Culvers. The accents on the people eating there was very 'Fargo-esque'.

They just opened a Freddies here last year. It's been pretty mediocre so far.
