I’ve been a boxing fan for 40 years. Wilder looked overwhelmed from the start.
Wilder let Fury walk right in on him. No lateral movement from Wilder. No defense from Wilder what so ever. Fury roughed him up, mauled him, threw him around. Then that ear shot is what won it. Wilder was never close to the same after that. Screwed up his equilibrium. Might have broke his jaw also. I thought Wilder was gonna fall off his stool more than once. Surprised it lasted past the 4th.
Wilder has never been a great boxer. He relies on that right hand too much. He needs fundamental work.
Wilder got humbled and embarrassed. Will be interesting to see if he can come back from this.
Fury is something else. Singing American Pie right after still in the ring. I’ve never seen anything like it. | | |

I went to a blues game once, played field hockey in MS gym class a couple of times, and won the FE hockey tourney pickem once. That's the limits of my hockey experience. | | |

Golf returned today! I subscribe to PGA Tour Live so I watched most of the first round while working.
Course was playing pretty easy in the morning. Rose was on fire.

My boy Hovland let me down, not a great first round.
