Nope- he is talent-less and sings pop drivel, which is why you love it so much as you chase trends (after all, you consider mumble rap good). You might as well just let the corporations dictate your whole life, since you already do with music and fashion.

Now give me some Public Enemy and we're on to something.

Kanye is far from talent less. You don't have to like his music but you should at least give him his props as he does have ability. His first 2-3 albums were really good. He's just gone crazy ever since he got with Kim.

Nope- he turns out pop drivel designed for mass market appeal and minimum of real meaning. There is a reason that whenever he gets away from music and starts opening his mouth people can't believe what he's saying- because it is ridiculous. He's totally manufactured and, worse, he's been told he's great so now he thinks he's a genius. So you hear him talk and it's like you are talking to Igor.

I haven't listened to his music, but Kanye's public persona is very Brian Bosworth/ Terrell Owens. It screams of manufactured assholery.

The thing about culture is that there are so many.

Even worse- he calls it expresso, not espresso. That's terrible in it's own right.

I haven't heard much hip-hop that I could relate to, but I don't listen to a lot of music, and even less new music.

As a non-musical person, it has always been about memories or lyrics I can relate to.

And vlady, British punk didn't die. It just went back underground to wait.
