well aside from his alignment(and again why was he 3rd party if he could win with town? i thought we went over this when we hosted together Vlady, he should have been listed as unaligned) he didn't lie about his role. wait actually i think he said he lost the ability if he looked for another, and the flip seemed like he would keep it.

Not that it makes a difference now but, Survivor is third party and can usually win with town. I don't think someone would be listed as unaligned unless their alignment can change? Also, I don't think he ever said he would lose his ability if he looked for another.

3rd party is specifically for a person or persons who can not win with town. more specifically its a non mafia player who cant win with town, hence the 3rd party part to town and mafia as 1st and second party.

Survivors are always third party, though, and they can win with town.

They just have to be alive at the end.

3rd party doesn't mean unaffiliated. Survivors are unaffiliated. They don't actively search out a win. Serial Killers (or Cult) are 3rd Party, because they are actively searching to meet a win condition.

It's a minor distinction, but I agree with im317 that Survivor is not technically a 3rd Party.

I'm not a mafia expert but I guess everyone is doing it wrong then. I was third party in WWE and could win with town and most of the hosts call Survivors third party - actually I don't remember ever seeing one that wasn't.

By this logic, an argument could be made that I've bussed you just as hard, since I was on you for most of D2.

But of course, since I'm not Scum, that doesn't apply.
