Lamps, if you're town I get why you might want to be stubborn (I guess) but I think you should claim.

Not claiming provides no benefit to the town whatsoever.

Reading through this all and catching up, I actually kind of feel bad for Lamps. It's a no-win situation where I can't imagine him claiming anything that would make town feel comfortable not lynching him. However, the fact that he isn't even trying to defend himself with a claim makes this an easy decision. I know if I was saved from a night attack this early and had a role like Town BP where I knew it would be a hard sell for other town members, I would recognize that it was probably in people's best interests to lynch me but still make the claim and fight. If Lamps is the actual Godfather, I could easily see him telling his scum buddies not to fight it because this puts a big-ass spotlight on him for the rest of the game.

Ok let me tell you this. Claiming doesn't, either. You tell me how it benefits in all of these scenarios:
1. I have a shit role and don't know how I survived. No one cares, will get lynched, no loss for anyone rly.
2. I have a decent role but don't know how I survived. No one believes it.
3. I have a decent role and do know how I survived. No one gonna deal with this as I will remain a question mark for the rest of the game.
4. I have a p good role and do know how I survived. Best case people believe it but role would go to waste because scum kills/blocks/whatever.
5. I have a p good role but don't know how I survived. That's a combo of all of the above basically.

I think the only out here is to lynch me and I'm ok with it. Sorry if that is seen as not trying/caring, but I do not believe in claiming - like a prev game when I survived an attack N1 and was town (Mason tracker fwiw). I'd have claimed right away if I were scum (Vanilla cop anyone?). I hate meta but yeah idk what else to say in my defense at this point other than claiming.

Because if you are a pretty good role that is worth saving, then claiming helps determine if it is worth the risk to keep you around. Say you are tracker and claim, I would potentially back off and look elsewhere, especially if you could provide info on who you tracked. You would also be more likely to be protected but would be on notice if you provided false tracking info.

If your role sucks, well then the risk to town is lower this early in the game versus potentially getting the GF, so I would more than likely stay on you.

By saying nothing, there is little risk/reward for us to consider in whether you are a worthy lynch or not.
