i think its Ari actually, you are second on my list but that is more by default.

the thing i dont get is im thinking Brian is cult leader and Ari is mafia, but why would Ari save Bryce if Ari is mafia?

Ari could just be saying he saved Bryce, there's really no proof he actually did

Brian SEEMS like the easiest answer because of the Timmah visit, BUT:

1. Why would Brian claim to have protected Bryce if it's a lie, knowing that someone else will show up and reveal that it was them who protected Bryce?

2. Why would Brian announce his Town reads on Timmah for awhile when he planned on recruiting him because of those Town reads?

Also I wonder why Timmah claimed to clear JC. That's super weird to me. Cult Timmah cleared JC of being Mafia and roleclaimed Cop, making himself such an obvious kill choice for the mafia and ruining the Cult's chances. Seems so weird

I still think Timmah claimed to clear JC due to helping his Cult buddy. We know he actually visited him so I think the theory of the Cult Leader sending Timmah to check JC so that he could recruit him the following night is a pretty accurate one

Not only does it now make both Timmah and JC big mafia targets for both being pretty cleared, but it also links the two as Cult and fucks them up once one of them dies, which Timmah did that same night due to claiming (:
