My Argonian was the only one I was able to actually finish the game and finish the Dragonborn DLC with.

I've been wanting to pick this back up and play through the special edition but I know that will be the end of all major projects I have going for me and you won't see me for a few weeks at least so I've put it off

My last save was the farthest I've ever gotten with the main questline. I think I was about 2 or 3 away from finishing. Also the most complete stuff I ever did in a single game (completing companions, dawnguard, mages, thieves, daedric, civil war)

I have saves where I'll complete one or two but I usually don't do them all. I think the only ones I've never fully completed are the main quest, Dragonborn and Dark Brotherhood

I finished the college many many many times, and the dark brotherhood once, but I've never even gotten close on the thieves guild or the companions. I'm not sure I've ever even JOINED the companions.

I got to what I think was the halfway point of Dawnguard but that's around the time my computer started having issues. Which is 2 computers ago now (:

I pretty much always start it, but I never back Ulfric. He really is an asshole.

But in hindsight canonically it is a bit odd to get involved. The Dragonborn would probably not give much of a shit given everything else that's going on. Jarl Barlgruuf even pretty much tells you it's pointless until he has to defend his town, and I consider him to be the absolute voice of reason in the whole game.

I completed the Companions on my Redguard save before, that was the only questline I ever did completely finish. I just finished it again on this save. I think I'm on the final Thieves guild quest now which I'll probably finish this morning. Which was a tad.... disappointing! That was my favorite in Oblivion. Thought this story was very silly and nonsensical. Although the armor you unlock is pretty sweet. I'm starting Dark Brotherhood after that, which I have never even done because the one time I had a chance to join them in the past, I ended up attacking Astrid. I remember being really pissed off because I used a bed towards the end of a dungeon and got kidnapped at that point.

Also I'm pretty sure Lydia is dead. I have yet to keep this woman alive in any save I have ever had in this game and I have no idea why. She just disappeared and I couldn't find her, which means she's probably face down in a dungeon somewhere. I finally found Kharjo (who I named my kitten after!) though so all is well.

RIP Kharjo. He got dicked by my flying arrows despite me having that perk where you can't harm your followers :(

I've killed just about every follower I've had by them stepping right in front of me as I was shooting an arrow. I save scum every time I know a follower dies, unfortunately in the heat of the moment sometimes I fail to realize they're dead until it's too late (:

I think Lydia got stuck once and kept stepping in the same trap, still didn't die IIRC.

Followers basically will go into a "yield" stance when their health is depleted and enemies will USUALLY ignore them until they get healthy enough to stand back up. If you accidentally hit them when they're like this, they will die. And if any enemy hits them while they're like this, they will die. Enemy mages will do this a lot in narrow hallways.

Already broke the game! Got the Ring of Hircice from Sinding and the quest won't advance, meaning I am now stuck with a ring that turns me into a werewolf every 30 minutes, gives me an automatic 1000 bounty and makes my follower kill random people who get mad at me.

This glitch was in the original game too, why wouldn't this be fixed?!

It's not totally gamebreaking but me turning to a werewolf and automatically making everyone hostile at random times is not exactly making the game practical.

It's astounding how lazy they are with stuff like that. It would've been nice for them to have gone through and sorted some of the more prominent bugs. It's not like there's not an entirely community driven wiki that lists every single possible known issue.

I assume they basically didn't devote a lot of manpower to the "special edition" version. It's a shame.

I always want to pick this game back up (also the Sims) but I really need to finish KH2 before the third drops!!

It... somehow fixed itself. Idk how but I just found Sinding randomly wandering around in the wilderness and I chased him to the cave he was SUPPOSED to be in. I dunno how that happened. The murder mystery quest from Windhelm is still broken, which saddens me because I remember that one being kinda fun.

Never got to the Blades quests in any of my playthroughs and finally seeing Kharjo in that Blades armor makes me so proud (: I intended to blast through this before Red Dead comes out but I don't think I'm going to come even close to finishing it. Dark Brotherhood just started, haven't touched either Bards or Mage Colleges and only literally just finally started doing Imperial Legion quests. Looks like Skyrim is going back to the backburner, unfinished yet again.

Also Lydia, Torvar and Cosnach have all vanished. I have no idea what happened to them. I've lost Kharjo in a previous playthrough where he was killed and I didn't realize until later but losing three seems a bit much (: Especially when in Torvar's case I wasn't even on a mission but just walking around Skyrim. Lod, the blacksmith from Falkreath, has completely vanished. No idea what happened to him. A dragon attacked and killed a few guards, but I distinctly remember selling him stuff to make room for the dragon bones and scales afterwards. On the subject, a dragon AND two giants attacked Dawnstar at the same fucking time and killed half the NPCs. I'm pretty sure this has rendered it impossible for me to be Thane.
