I thought it had good character stuff!

Walt not caring about how he looked in front of Hank by breaking down in front of him, just to use that to further his operation. So great. I loved that moment. I really liked Hank in that scene and the Holly scene. The Walt and Walt Jr. interaction was good for some character stuff too

The caper was awesome. Definitely my favorite they've done. Plus that ending. So shocking. I love whenever things go perfectly and then something like that happens

And the way the episode was shot was excellent as always. And the lighting. So dark. I loved everything about it

The scene where they first investigate the tracks was beautifully shot. LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A LEONE FLICK

But really the ending leaves so many POSSIBILITIES. Like, no matter how far Walt's fallen, I don't think he'll be okay with Todd. The Brock poisoning was different, it served some purpose (in Walt's mind obv). This accomplished nothing that couldn't have been resolved by shooing the kid off.

Definitely wasn't my favorite of the season, but it was FUN. I usually prefer the darker, character-oriented episodes like last week rather than the light-hearted ones. Of course, I'm saying "light-hearted" about an episode that ended with a kid getting shot (:

The only real character development this week was Walt Jr and there still wasn't MUCH besides him getting pissy and Walt being less sympathetic towards him. And Todd is now a thing apparently!

NOT SURE how I feel about Jesse coming with another genius plan. I know he's getting smarter but I think they're making him a little TOO smart when only a couple months ago (in the show's timeline) he was still a complete fuck-up. But that's just a minor quibble. I did like how Jesse thought of the caper in the exact same way as the MAGNET one with Walt and Mike bickering with each other

Also Lydia is getting more annoying every week. Ugh, I hate her.

And that BUG in Hank's office will be huge I'm sure, for one reason or another. Either Walt's gonna hear Hank getting too close to finding Heisenberg and have to kill him or Hank's gonna somehow find the bug and that will be what finally leads to his breakthrough since he saw Walt playing around with the picture frame

That ending just made me go cold.

Damn.

That entire episode was so intense.

Todd doing this made SENSE at least. They had him set up as a guy who was totally looking for Walt's loyalty, and they made him understand that there could be no witnesses. Given the business he was in, he's probably done some abhorrent things in his life.

I don't think he was being too smart here. From what I recall it seemed like Walt was much more responsible for the logistical details of the plan, and stuff like the train stopping was more Jesse.

The way Walt kept looking at Jesse sort of suggested he did do the logistics which is a bit off. But I'm okay with it for the most part.

Todd thing makes total sense.

Also Lydia is annoying.

if there was a way to make sweet love to this show and have babies with it - i'd be watering flowers from monday to sunday, having babies mommas all over the world.

choo chooooo indeed btw.

skyler: *blows cigarette smoke* "out burying bodies?!" *smokes cigarette*
walt: *looks down his legs* "robbing a train!" *WALTzes off like a boss*

haha....i loved that bit. though i knew the moment walt said it, putting it like "yeah right you heard me woman...i'mma be robbing me a traaaain" - that something would go wrong. but who would have expected the toddiest, todd, yo!?

the fuck.....for a moment i thought he could be an undercover cop (infiltrated burglar ring, stumbled upon the big case, conincidence etc)...i don't know...then he just offed the kid, and before that he waved him bye bye....that was just too cold even for a snitch bitch undercover informant, right?! anyway...fuuuuuu todd. and really, 20 seconds before it happened, i was like...."damn this spider/kid intro......when is it coming back into the picture?!"....and there it was....damn

wtf lydia (what a lucky bitch), i don't like how she got away again. really hope next time (3rd time) mike just pulls out his pistol, "not a gun", and shoots her in the head. i think that bitch would fork you to death if there wasn't a knife lying around.

also wtf walt, planting a bug in hank's office. hank will know it was walt who bugged him if he ever finds it in that photograph. it's unlikely walt will go back and remove them again, isn't it? i mean, it would be careless, but really how does he want to pull that off again? also, hank isn't in that office for a long time, only a few people been in. and amongst those wa the heisiest of the bergs, heisenberg yo. shaking hands with gomez, hiding in plain sight, just like gus. i mean, he did that from the beginning on. but back then he wasn't the boss. now he's boss, yo.

lol @ that dude (saul's guy). always good to see him around. he's like the gun dealer, the car pit guy, or huell. always glad to see those getting screen time.

great episode! completely different in style compared to the psychological slow-play that was last episode. fuck yeah that drive/tempo, those hectic/nervous moments, the showdown...just

.....awesome!

really what kind of a burglar is that todd guy?!
a one-shot kill from quite a distance in dusty terrain? the target wasn't moving and he had the drop on it. but that was no amateur shot in any case. todd knows how to handle a piece. that guy's more than just a burglar right?!

hrrhrrr...i think it means that vernon finally came through and admitted to himself that he knows shit about quality filming. thus he makes sarcastic comments about a quality piece of filming here, as some of us or respectively most here would expect him to.

see, what he's doing here is to take the wind out of the momentum that is the cheerful play of a charade mirroring his film making "career" due to the lack of knowledge and taste for quality, having a laugh at himself rather than being lol'd at by some of us, or respectively, most here (:

we cannot allow this to continue any further :leos:

Holy shit what an episode. Whole last 15 minutes had my heart beating so fast. The train heist stuff was great stuff. That ending though, just COLD. I was not expecting that. I loved the whole interaction with Skylar when he simply told her he was robbing a train and walked off. Great stuff with Hank also before bugging his office. This episode was just pure great and I loved every minute of it.
