Warning, don't watch the previews again.
Atleast they aren't making up stuff this season.
Could what Malcolm's brother says really ruin his game???
Nope! Just his shaky hands | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I like her and she was always my favorite girl on that tribe, but I think I like Laura/Ciera more than just Ciera now. The girls have had many opportunities to shift things in their favor and they haven't. It has had to be done for them..
|
Wait, what? What opportunities did they have? They were down 5-4 from the get-go, and nobody's made any overtures towards being willing to work with them until now.

They could have gone to John when they heard the guys were turning and tried to find that idol and use it. Or when they heard Brad wanted Caleb, they could have gone to Caleb to tie it. They didn't. They just go with whatever.

So far not much to say besides The returning players are fun to watch and goof around. They even have an easy first boot in Kat. So as far as what I think of the newbies is.....I really like Vytas and Hayden and that is about it.
I bet Caleb turns into a cocky Colton. Ciera is basically worthless and so is Katie but Katie has nice boobs so that is a plus. Vytas and Hayden seem like the only normal ones. I think Caleb made a bad move by voting out Brad. He said he felt tight with Hayden and Vytas. So if he voted out Ciera they keep Brad around as a target. It is not like those 3 could not vote him out. I think all he did was break trust with the other two guys. Plus he did it just randomly at tribal that makes trusting him even harder. I mean he will be safe with Ciera and Katie now but...........he could have had the same thing with the guys but keep Brad around as a target.
As far as Brad goes I agree with everybody that he was stupid. I mean he told the girls they were the target next after Caleb like wtf was the point in saying that. He should have never voted out John despite John handling the idol situation poorly. Everybody is just over thinking the game for the newbies I think. The final 3 at this point will for sure be 3 Returning players. I am personally hoping for the coconut bandits to be there at the end.

Ciera is nothing special to watch and is by far one of the weakest challenge competitors ever on this show. I was shocked she wasn't voted out over Laura B on first impressions. If she turned sideways she'd be invisible. But for her to make it to the final 5 of this original 10 person tribe..that's impressive. The Blood vs Water twist does effect that though

Well now that Brad's gone, Caleb is going to be the one that suffers in the sake of the twist with not having a loved one. All his tribe mates will scatter leaving him behind.

Ehh, but you're assuming first of all that Katie and Ciera didn't try that - for all we know they tried a few things, and the editing completely shut them out. Secondly, you're assuming that John and Caleb would both immediately drop everything and turn on their alliance. That kind of thing almost never happens, ever. Don't forget, in both of those scenarios Ciera and Katie would have to be operating under the assumption that the guys might have been lying about what they were doing, and if Caleb or John had asked them for proof, it's their word against the word of someone in their alliance - and who's more trustworthy, the guy who's been with you from day one, or the people who are totally screwed and will say anything to stay?
I mean, really, think about it from this perspective: You're John, and the two bottom feeders who suck in challenges and know that they're next out the door are telling you that your alliance is going to turn on you, despite you being one of the best challenge players on a repeatedly-losing tribe. Are you actually just going to accept that at face value and help those two find the idol, without ever talking to your alliance members? If John hinted for even a second that he knew Brad was after him, Brad would have changed course in a heartbeat and sent Katie or Ciera home.
And, again, when Brad wanted Caleb gone, it's essentially the same thing. They tell Caleb, Caleb tells Brad, Brad chops them. They might have had a little more credibility since Brad had just stabbed John, yes, but almost nobody in the history of Survivor has willingly entered a tie. They'd essentially be asking Caleb to backstab his alliance in order to pull a move that has about 50-50 odds of success, and more or less guarantees that he goes home if it fails. It's a pretty stupid offer to make, especially when you factor in that even if Caleb were to go with them, he'd be guaranteeing that their tribe is boned in every upcoming challenge, meaning that in a few rounds it's him, Ciera, and Katie going to TC, and guess who's going home in that scenario?
I dunno. I think that if they were running around making deals, they'd drastically increase their odds of going home.

Good flip side! I actually like that! Maybe it's because I'm so naive that I would believe the girls if they came to me! =P
But still...let's be honest...neither girl tried anything. =P

I thought going into the season that Laura M would dominate. I'm very upset to see her go. Should've been the other Laura for sure

Not a fan of either Laura tbh. B sucks though. Her attempt to stir shit with Kat was so terrible
BUT, at least she tried something I suppose

I was hoping Laura B would be 2 for 2 in Tribals but based on the previews it was pretty obvious going after her wouldn't be a blindside.
We have 12 in the game going into next week, with 3 on redemption. What do you guys think will happen based on the preview? Tribe Swap? It's too early for a merge. If they do a swap, do they keep the loved ones separate?

I'm hoping for a swap. I feel like these recent seasons hardly ever swap or swap too late. I'm not sure why really. Swaps are way more fun than the same two tribes straight to merge

I can't count. There are only 12 in the game, we've seen a merge at 12 before.
