I was thinking of this exact question before I left for work this morning. Glad you asked it, and we got a yes here.
Could be a wizard or some kind of monster guy with powers.
Not primarily tv, movies or comic books though.
What does that leave? Video games? Novels? Songs?

BUT if you asked three random people on the street who knew of this character to draw them they would probably draw him the same way.

going back to the very first question...
does him not being alive mean he's just ficitional or fictional AND dead? lol

for some reason I'm stuck on Christmas characters...now I have the Grinch in mind lol
(the book came first, but there is also the very famous tv special and movie, so it might not be him)

I'm trying to think of fictional characters that are also dead and that was in a book and that there are songs about.
