Dope.

Thought it was great. Wasn't too keen on the ending, but it didn't ruin it.

Finally watched Ex Machina. It was very good, but I think the ending was somewhat predictable (the AI walks unknown now among us) and could have been adjusted to make it stronger. My wife suggested having Nathan having Ava try to leave but the card doesn't work. Instead, Nathan, bleeding out, laughs and talks about how he's protected her from the outside, then gives her the only keycard to get out. She then gets out into the world and she discovers all the pain and suffering in the world, making it a vengeful god who let's her out of a stifling but protective "Eden".

Wife wanted to watch The Intern last night. Ugh, it was bad even for a chick flick.

I finally watched Crimson Peak. It's predictable, but it's supposed to be (how could it not be if you know Gothic Romantic horror), so I didn't mind.

yeah- was hoping for so much more from that. They even gave most of it away from the very beginning scenes before everything became a flashback.

Given Del Toro can rip your heart out with stuff like The Orphanage and The Devil's Backbone, I was hoping for more.

Watched Batman vs Superman yesterday. It was better then I was expecting just not sure if the dark Batman is something I care for.

The originally written Batman was always dark. Superman has always been the big blue boy scout. That's why I always liked Batman more.
