I watched Fritt Vilt today, which translates to: 'Cold Prey'. It's a Norweigan horror movie.

If anyone has seen 'Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings'.. imagine that, but done the right way, with a director who actually knows what he's doing with the characters and storylines.

It's really good. I'd for sure check it out!

Les Mis

It was okay. A lot of singing
"So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Watched Zootopia with the girls yesterday. It was cute and it had me chuckle a couple times.

Finally watched The Martian last night ... i liked it. Damon was good. Although from the start I kept asking why the ship that had just left couldn't just turn around and get him... I suppose the answer is "science". Blech

And took my son to see Civil War, I liked it too, looking forward to the Black Panther movie, that actor was great.

We found Barbarella at the flea market for $1, so we watched that, only to be disappointed that it seemed to be missing sex scenes we remembered seeing years ago (like the lesbian sex scene between Barbarella and the Tyrant). Did a little research and found out that version is apparently only on the international release which didn't make it to DVD.

The scene in question are in still shots on the website below- we saw this on VHS years ago from a shop that specialized in weird foreign and cult films- I miss that place.

I'm watching The Princess and the Frog, since it's randomly playing on the Disney channel.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows

It's exactly what you'd expect. But I missed parts of the movie because I was tired and couldn't keep my eyes open. My favourite part was when Raph

Approaching the Unknown. It was decent, though you have to know going in that it is slow. I appreciated the technical aspect of actually getting to mars, and they focused alot on the loneliness of the prospect. I dont personally agree on sending one person per spacecraft even if it would lighten the load considerably. It just doesnt make sense from a psychological standpoint.

Personally I would've liked it had they actually shown some setup of the colony on mars, but I guess this was not what the movie was about, it was about the journey there for this one man. Personally I thought the Martian was a better movie (and Matt Damon should've won the Oscar over Leo), and to be honest all space movies I watch tend to have an unreachable goal of being better than Sunshine. I dont think that will ever happen, so, in conclusion, Approaching the Unknown was decent. Probably wouldn't watch again.

Watched Tucker and Dale VS Evil last night. I remember really wanting to watch it when it first came out and then somehow I missed it. It was really good. Had me laughing the whole time.

Oh another I just watched last week was Knights of Badassdom. Pretty disappointing. I liked the idea and the nerdiness of it all but it ended up being kinda lame and boring.

I plan to watch The Way, Way Back tonight. I'll be back to report when it's the Last Movie I've seen.

Edit: And now it is. And I really liked it. The acting was excellent, and I got all wrapped up int he story. And some parts are really funny.
