Saw "Daddy's Home" ... I laughed more than I should have. It's exactly the kind of movie you'd imagine when you see "Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg".
I liked it! | |

I was just mentioning book clubs but then I got to thinking... a lot of us have netflix I assume? Well what if there was a netflix club? Like one random movie chosen every other week or so and we all have to watch it and give our review of it?
We could either rotate who picks the movie or use this website
http://netflixroulette.net/
It gives you a random movie to watch and someone just post the screenshot and we watch it. Good or bad.

Matt tried this and it failed miserably but I still think it'd be a fun idea
They're coming out with some Netflix Party thing where you can link up and watch a movie at the same time and chat about it I think. That'd be a bit harder but still cool

Oh I see the thread now. I actually posted on the end of it.
I think this could be fun if we went the random route. They'll be movies that none of us really know that could be good or bad. Whoever reviews it first can pick the genre for next time.

Netflix Party Mode was a great feature on xbox, I don't know why they ever removed it.

I watched Enemy. It was weird but interesting. I think it's a Curtis movie lol. Jake Gyllenhaal, who I love. It also has a little talk between Jake and the director at the end of the movie which I liked a lot.

I watched Circle yesterday. Really interesting concept. Liked it based on my like for strategic things like Survivor of course with live and death it kicks it up level. Definite plot holes though. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I also watched the Town today. Pretty bad ass movie. Now I know what Curtis and Leos do for work. I feel like the redemption aspect of the movie wasn't fleshed out the best but other than that pretty good. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? That's the Ben Affleck one, right? I actually read the book prior to seeing the movie, which I rarely do. When I read it, I didn't really know what the movie was. I enjoyed the book a lot. The movie was just okay.
Last night though, I watched On the Waterfront (1954). Never seen it before, but I liked it a lot and I can understand why it won a bunch of Academy Awards. It was definitely a contender that year. :P

I started watching it yesterday but I had something come up and only got about 40 minutes in.
Finn is such a goofball | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I still need to see it. Somehow I'm still only minimally spoiled. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r
