I also felt like Cody might have known he was about to be outed as being somewhere, so he went ahead an claimed. But, I have seen that role a few times before.

Watcher claims Buffy visited herself
Buffy claims she did not
Watcher claims farlig and Penner were in the same place
They claim they were not

Two different conflicting bits of information

Conclusion: either some sort of mass redirecting or 1 redirect and 1 liar?
Could a bus driver explain this in any way?

This role seems pretty easy to disprove if he's lying. I believe him until we get scans without him
