Johnny Cash clearly invented rap. Some would even argue that sinatra did.

You called it techno- you clearly do not know 80s music at all and your opinion is invalid. Techno is that thump thump thump 120+ BPM stuff played in 90s clubs. Pretty in Pink soundtrack has zero techno.
