I was just reading back through Dylan's Day 3 posts. He talked about the hired bodyguard being someone that likely Mafia hired with money, which would mean it wasn't part of anyone's role. Just that someone bought themselves protection. Obviously the people who died on Night 2 didn't hire the bodyguard or they'd still be alive, and the only other person we know to have survived an attack, according to Merc, was Vlady. But if that were the case, then I don't know why Vlady wouldn't just admit to it if he bought the protection. So maybe it was someone else who hired the bodyguard and nobody's come forward about it. I know we're not talking about it right now, but it has to mean something.

I feel kind of like I may be wearing a tin foil hat right now, but this does line up with my suspicion that he might be getting paid per joke he makes or something.

Tinfoil or not, I like that.

It would make what is currently a horrible sounding role at least somewhat interesting.

This is a good point and maybe that's why he was so willing to give away money, but on the other hand, why not keep it since $50 could mean a lot to him? idk but just wondering out loud
