I normally don't like child actors at all but the kid in this was so good. Probably the most convincing young actor I've seen and he was playing such a unique/complex role too | |

I watched Fury Road again but I still haven't managed to catch it before it starts so I can actually see the beginning. I don't care enough about seeing the very beginning to deal with Fios's on demand menus, so I'll just wait until I eventually see it in the guide before it starts. Tonight I actually caught it between the beginning and the sandstorm, so that was nice. | |

Anomalisa
might top Synecdoche as Kaufman's most depressing movie. I...don't really know what to think about it. It had some very poignant moments but as a whole it didn't really come together for me. Definitely an interesting watch though. Very unique as always

We watched this with the kids just the other day- they love it.

I watched The Nut Job today - an animated family film about a squirrel and heist of a nut shop to feed the animals that live in a park. I've never heard of it before, but there's some big names providing the voices (Liam Neeson, Maya Rudolph, Katharine Heigl, Will Arnett). It was enjoyable for what it was. I wanted to watch it because the main character was a squirrel.

Spotlight is very good, although not all that exciting. It's a good watch if you want something documentary-like with just a few dramatic moments | |
