For the most part David Lynch is very uninterested in having his films make much sense. Thats kinda why I like him so much

I really like Mulholland Drive and I love Blue Velvet.
Did the new season of Twin Peaks ever happen?

Sinister 2
It wasn't horrible but didn't come close to the first. The ghost kids were a much bigger part and they were horrible. It felt like they probably spent more time trying to come up with a new slew of the home movies than the movie itself. I can picture a guy saying "okay, hear me out, this kid gets a bunch of alligators..." Points taken off for the child abducting and murdering demon from hell Bagul somehow managing to be outshone in the deplorable character department by the ex-husband.

Wreck-It-Ralph! 😁
Actually, the very last one I saw was Murder, My Sweet, but I wasn't paying attention because I was playing Tropico and don't remember it.

The Revenant
Good! Wasn't really blown away by it though, I thought Birdman was far better
|
THE GOOD:
- that fight at the end. It would've been so easy for it to underwhelm after 2+ hours of build-up, but it delivered perfectly. So goddamn brutal
- the cinematography obv. Especially that opening battle scene. Lubezki is a master
- DiCaprio/Hardy were very good, though I thought Hardy's performance was actually more impressive. I can't help but find this Onion article at least somewhat accurate (: http://www.theonion.com/article/leonardo-dicaprio-hopes-he-screamed-and-cried-good-52170
- I liked how unbiased it was towards either faction. It didn't present the Native Americans or the white men as saints, there were assholes and good guys on either side of the conflict
THE BAD:
- I thought the ending with him looking at the camera was fucking stupid. It just felt like they came to the end of the script and realized they didn't have some memorable shot to end it on so forced that in. Didn't really get what thematic purpose that served. I thought Birdman's ending was relatively weak too tbh so maybe Inarritu just struggles with endings
- I only could understand like half of what Fitzgerald said (: I appreciate how well Hardy adopted the accent but...lol
- The CGI on the animals was pretty bad. Kinda took me out of the movie whenever they were on screen. This movie even had a huge budget so I dunno how that happened, though I guess it's just easier for the human eye to tell when things like that look off as opposed to CGI aliens or whatever |

Pan and as usual, I fell asleep. I have seen the beginning of so many movies. -_- | A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart. |

I looked up most of the cast online yesterday and I was saddened to learn of David Graf's (Tackleberry) passing almost 15 years ago (he was only 50), and surprised that George Gaynes (Cmndt. Eric Lassard) is still kicking at the age of 98!
Bubba Smith (Hightower) and Andrew Rubin (the guy who used the fake spanish accent to get the ladies in the first film) died in 2011 and 2015.
The movies are a little dated, but still so hilarious.

I wasn't really interested in the parts I did see. I'm not worried about trying to see the end. | A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something.
