Yeah, I actually think I believe him. If he's lying, he'll be dying tomorrow. He might just be lying for fun, but he's actually probably just been preparing his grand claim and SCUM KILLER status this whole time.

The only reason I'm suggesting this is because end game is likely nearing and Shawn is quite possibly scum, and we have some room to play, and it would make me laugh

The only problem is if there multiple scum, or there is a third party, or Vernon is lying for fun and is town. Vig hits again and hits town, scum kill again... It doesn't put us in a good spot at all. If we're wrong about only one scum left we could enter into risky territory where a majority can't be obtained because of the inactives. I'm not sure if it's worth it just to fuck with Vernon. As fun and tempting as it sounds and as much as I'd like to see him fail to kill Shawn.
