Yeah. I managed to oust Colby just before the merge, so it was me and Amber versus the entire Kucha tribe. Apparently they all suck out loud, so I managed to dominate the whole thing.
I've been playing Saints Row which I got from the Humble bundle (http://www.humblebundle.com/), which I recommend you guys get if you haven't already.
i read about that a week ago or so. definitely a deal to be done there...but i find this questionable to be honest. THQ obviously is in need of money. And now people are buying their games and pay less than they do when they go eat a hamburger at mc donalds or some shit like that. take metro 2033....worth every penny, should still be bought at the prize it was valued on release date. long sotry short: it's an epic game, hands down. if you don't want CoD shoved down your throat again and again and again you gotta support such raw quality games by "smaller" developer teams. think of all the hours of manpower that went into it. many mouths gotta be fed and they deserve to get paid for what they created. i guess THQ REALLY needs money and so was willing to go down that road. now every scumbag is like yeah i just bought that game for 1 € and yeah i bought this one for 2,50 €.....and they're SO happy they made a "good deal". this feels wrong if you ask me. i don't know.
Well THQ arnt exactly a large studio like EA and the other giants and I think this will have a positive effect on their sales in the future. If people buy these games (too be fair all the games in the bundle are 1+ years old) and like them a lot they are more likely to buy something from the studio in the future. Like more games = more likely!
I doubt there are many people who want to play Metro or Saints Row atm that havnt bought them (before the sale) so this is pretty much them just gaining money from people who where unlikely to buy these games in the first place.
Also THQ is pretty much getting a raw profit from the sales. I dont think each sale has a lot of cost behind it (no disk + shit) so its all money in the bank
yeah true dat ari. just sayin that a game like metro 2033, a unique piece of development, should sell for more than 5 $ simply cause it's so fuckin great. and that i hate those cheap fucks who be like "oh "yeah i'mma do a GREAT DEAL today, and just pay less for this or that game, than i would pay for a junkfood meal at some junkfood place."
but yeah THQ knew what they were/are doing....hopefully not everyone is a cheap fuck doing deals there, some of those games, and thus those who developed the game deserve to get paid/acknowledged....or something like that

btw. i get your point of view about GTA 4 and i respect it. you think it is not so cool compared to SA or maybe VC, i think it's incredibly well done and entertaining to play. and that, a comparison is kind of not making sense. it's both GTA, but clearly the next level has been reached. i digg it a lot. the difference is huge in terms of technology.
look at how amazing GTA 4 can look. only on PC of course ;D
also, if you like to see a comparison, look at what's to come. it's day and night. that may say nothing about gameplay maybe, but just knowing or seeing that you play in such a detailed surrounding, increases immersion immensely if you ask me. and thats when i enjoy games, when the immersion is right

Survivor Ultimate is the shit man. My original tribe of trainwrecks lost every IC before pre-swap, after the swap I got switched to the other tribe and won every immunity. The merge hits and we pick off the other 2 losers lolol Me/Rudy/Colleen obliterated Tammy/Zoe/Paschal/Black Sean and Neleh somehow bumblefucks into winning the f4 and f3 immunity presumably giving her the win.

like I said graphics is no issue, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in gta4.
But game-play was disappointing on a whole. Basically I just had a lot more fun on the previous two games.
That being said rdr was pure win. And I have high hopes for GTA5.

Bioshock was excellent in this regard, not sure if you tried it. Also loved the uncharted games for similar reasons.
10th. Apparently she was a threat or something, which just goes to show how badly video game AI can fail when it wants to.
Both games had some potential but I felt they made the first one much more like Survivor than the second.
If they mixed the 2 games together it would have almost been awesome!! But I wish they made it so if you got voted out on Jury you would still see the game through and vote for a winner.
But I so badly want to find people who have the game as well and play over the online play...I drool at the thought of that. =P

RDR was my personal favorite. Atmosphere, gameplay... I would just run around on my horse just to feel like a true westerner
