You've never seen Pretty in Pink? They perform "Bring on the Dancing Horses" on the soundtrack which is a great song. Echo and the Bunnymen have "Killing Moon", "Lips Like Sugar" and my favorite "The Cutter" which are all stand out tracks.
"People are Strange" is a great cover, though. I love the original and this version.

Yeah had some original stuff and did covers for some 80's movies. Pretty in Pink, Lost boys, etc...
