14 ppl left, 3 of them don't speak or vote, so technically 11. At least 4 are cult, tomorrow there can be 5 and we'll have less than 11 voters. So I feel like we have to take a chance to get rid of cult today. Buffy is not cult, she would have had more support if she was - besides the other signs that she's mafia. ##lynch Christian.

This post makes perfect sense so whatever town members are still left need to take it seriously. I am willing to get on board. For town this is a do or die vote and if we dont hit the recruiting group I am almost positive we will lose. Whether we call the recruiting faction The Stabilizers, The Chaotic Mafia or The Cult is irrelevant. If they are able to get 5 votes they will basically be in control of lynches plus whatever their powers allow them to do and I doubt we'd be able to recover. With four randomizers down I can't imagine they are near as close to their win condition so we have to prioritize cult right now. Buffy can be lynched tomorrow while we still have some control of the vote.

I am willing to have a bit of flexibility on who the lynch target is but for now I'm OK with Christian. If Christian comes back and starts speaking coherently than maybe we can lynch one of the people who aren't concerned with taking out a member of a 4 person recruiting faction this late into the game. It makes no sense to allow that to remain in tact.

Why Christian? I don't remember seeing why yet

And why do we think it has 4 members?

Dylan is full of it. He blocked the person claiming doctor powers. He's the silencer and he silenced cake again.

I agree with what people are thinking based on Wikey's list. Though Lamps could have been recruited, but with his role seems like it'd be town.

My passive tells me each night there is a conversion and I was informed of conversions on nights 2 3 and 5. That's how we know there are 4 with the converting faction.

Christian seems like a likely convert because he came really came off as town yesterday and I know there was a night conversion. He's also been dead silent since the talk of conversions/cults came up. Not perfect logic but that's why I am open to someone else who makes more sense. But where the logic isnt faulty is that we absolutely have to take a stab at the cult tonight or we most likely lose (especially with town claiming roles and assisting the recruiter by showing him who the safe conversions are).

Buffy was role blocked N1, per her. She now claims that she was role blocked another night without specifying which, but I really do not recall her ever mentioning it until she was identified as perhaps being the recruiter/converter.

The flaw in this "cult" logic that daniel and badger are throwing out is that it may not be the "cult" that recruits/converts. The argument that "buffy would have had more support if she's the recruiter" goes for Christian too, so its a non-starter.

The roleblocker probably knows who the recruiter is then. Whoever they blocked N4 is very likely the recruiter

Doesn't matter what you wanna call the faction recruiting/converting. The fact is the faction is growing. It's kind of funny that you were so afraid of a cult in the beginning of this thread but now that you have been pointed out as possible cult leader you are downplaying those conversions.

A couple of things are on my mind that concern me. First, that there may be a chaotic mafia lurking that hasn't lost a member. If we're looking at a basic setup with 3 factions in addition to town (random, stabilizer, chaotic) then we could be looking at up to 10 of the remaining 15 being bad guys of some faction. Second, if we add in this conversion factor from several of the write ups, I'm sitting here wondering if all of you are bad guys. I have had a scum read on nearly everyone left at some point in the game, so that doesn't help my suspicions

Cult leader is one of you or Curtis I'm pretty positive so if neither of you are looking at each other, one of you probably already converted the other one. Out of the list of people left:

That leaves Curtis (still theory that he's leader tho), Christian, Boc, Wikey, Dylan, Timmah (also possible leader), Ahoda as possible convert/leader imo.

I think 4/7 of them are cult (whatever growing faction name you want to insert here) and 4 are on my lynch train so...yeah.

Also Timmah, you were talking about Cake and I being scumbuddies and making up which never happened. Now that Cake is proven town that theory's out, I guess. This all kinda stinks.

Dylan blocked Buffy N1 and then conveniently no action the other night there was no recruit. IDK IDK!

Maybe he was recruited N5 and is now lying about blocking no one on N4

Well it seems fairly likely that Dyl's the silencer, which would almost certainly make him mafia. I'm not so sure that he's cult. But either way he's acted really scummy today

I think Buffy and Christian are definitely the scum from that list. Lamps' explanation could just be a way of dodging my question, but it would be a pretty dumb way of doing it if he was scum rather than just denying it. I think he's acted pretty town-like today. And Buffy/Christian have struck me as pretty suspect even before today, but Buffy's desperate/nonsensical attempts at discrediting the lynch have pretty much sealed it for me
