Cagayan Fantasy: Episode 5

After Tribal Council, Shawn approached Mal to explain why she flipped from their alliance. The two instead engaged in a heated argument, resulting in Mal walking away from camp. Jeff Probst met up with Mal and she informed him that she was pulling herself from the game, fearing that if she stayed any longer, she might do something that she wouldn't want her child to see. Soon after Jeff stopped by Solana's camp to inform the tribe of Mal's decision to leave.

The Solana tribe won the reward challenge and selected KC and Drr to go to the Aparri camp and pick two items they'd like to take. KC and Drr opened two notes given to them at the challenge: one informing them of the items they could choose from and the second being a clue to the hidden immunity idol at their own camp. Instead, KC pretended they were given a clue to assign to a member of the Aparri tribe, giving it to Curtis in an attempt to make him a target. Curtis later realized that the clue was the same one he had received while on the original Solana tribe and therefore useless to him at Aparri, though Vic and Bryce appeared skeptical about that claim.

Despite quickly falling behind on the staircase portion, the Solana tribe came out victorious due to Patrick and Drr's puzzle-solving skills, and won immunity. At the Aparri camp, Bryce attempted to convince the rest of the tribe to vote out Curtis, believing him to be the most likely person to turn against them after the merge. Vic saw through Bryce's scheming and felt she came across as fake, along with the worry that Bryce would rejoin former Beauty allies Patrick and Dylan at the merge. At Tribal Council, it was discussed that tribal cohesion was necessary in order to win challenges, which brought up past conflict between Curtis and Shadow. Ultimately, Curtis was spared over Bryce, who was voted out by her entire tribe.



Cagayan Fantasy: Episode 6

On Day 17, both tribes were anticipating a long-awaited merge. Their predictions were proved correct, as the day's tree mail instructed the former Solana tribe to move to the Aparri beach for the final 22 days of the game. They were also informed of a new hidden immunity idol, which comes with as-yet-unmentioned "special powers." With the tribe totaling eleven members, each former tribe attempted to solidify their numbers ahead of the first individual immunity challenge. Despite some tension between Brian and Matt, the former Aparri tribe had the majority, so KC attempted to flip his former "Cops R Us" ally to the Solana alliance.

After Drr held out against KC in the immunity challenge, Matt decided to remain loyal to the former Aparri tribe and encouraged Vic, Brian, DD, Shadow, and Curtis to vote for KC. When questioned by KC about her allegiances, Matt remained non-committal, and he realized she would not be flipping. Instead, Shawn—who had overheard an argument between Matt and Brian—questioned Brian about her role in the alliance and asked who from the former Aparri she would like to vote. Brian answered "Matt," and Shawn told Brian that the former Solana tribe would be voting for Matt—and that they only need one further vote to get rid of her.

At Tribal Council, KC revealed his hidden immunity idol and announced that it was a "community idol" to help any member of his alliance. Vic and DD's alliance agreed, publicly, to switch their votes to "the other one." Thinking that "the other one" was Patrick, KC played his idol for Patrick. To support his ally, Patrick also played his immunity idol, ensuring that votes for both himself and KC would not count. When the votes were read, it was revealed that "the other one" was actually Dylan and both idols were rendered useless. In the end, though, Brian flipped to KC's alliance, eliminating Matt in a 6-5 decision. As Matt left, Vic said aloud that Brian no longer had any chance of winning the game.

Vic wins Immunity and finds an HII, Drr steals Vic's pants, Brian sticks to his new group and votes out Shadow. Curt, Vic, DD are in the minority
