23 failed attempts at escaping Riften jail. This is going well.

How did you end up in Riften jail? I think it's the only place I've never been arrested.

I have the Random Alternate Start mod, so it started me in a random location, just outside of Riften. I chose to start with no gear, so I needed whatever I could get my hands on equipment-wise. My level 1 thievery was not appreciated.

I ended up staying my sentence (which of course lowered my progress towards not being level one even more) then stole more things and had to escape the city on stolen horseback. Then I did the exact same thing in Windhelm, but thanks to a glitch I was able to sell my 57 stolen bottles of black briar mead and buy some illusion spells.

Then the hired thugs came for me at the windhelm stables, so I cast fury on them intending for them to fight each other but instead the stable hand and two horses beat the shit out of them while I dodged their giant axe swings

This all sounds fine until dragons.

I assassinated someone and got caught while running away, so I bribed the guard, but he acted like he was arresting me and then the screen just went black for a second like I'd traveled and I was right back where we'd been and everything was calm, which was funny to me because there'd been a riot before. Also, I'm becoming a vampire.

My favourite glitch in the game is when somebody murders you and then casually talks to your corpse.

"I'LL RIP YOUR HEART OUT!"
"Yes? Need something?"

It also never fails to amuse me as the citizens look over a massacre they just witnessed and keep saying "What happened?"

I killed some Cultists once and the entire city of Riften had to circle around them and hover their hands over them one by one. It was terrifying

I feel like playing Skyrim now.

That happened to me but in Whiterun! I have a pic of it somewhere.

I keep feeling impulsive and wanting TESO, but then I'm like "It goes b2p in like two weeks. I can wait..." There might even be a sale to entice more people.

Nevermind, I found her! She was in Whiterun the whole time.

This is still a game I will never understand. Maybe I'm one of those people that need some sort of guidelines or goals, but when I have too much freedom, I get lost chasing too many things and I just get sick of running around.

The trick is to either focus on a questline or forge your own path. Exploration is half the fun for me. It also gets better once you actually make it to a city and get some idea of what you're doing (and can buy horses if it takes too long to travel for you)
