I'll begin this by saying the penalty against the Jets that cost the Pats the game was a good call by the refs.
Now, this was the dumbest call I've seen all year. One of the best TE's in the whole league can't catch a ball that would've been a yard 1 front of him? I'm literally so infuriated right now. If 54 wasn't pushing Gronk backwards, he could've planted his foot down and dropped down for the catch.

Were you watching the same game? It didn't matter if Gronk was wide open, there was a defender in front of him who easily intercepted the ball.

Exactly, I don't see the controversy here. There's no way Gronk could've gotten that, whether Kuechly touched him or not. That's why there's the whole "uncatchable ball" thing with PI

It doesn't matter how close he was. Interference is interference is interference. Shitty call on the refs and it really fucks me off that 2 of our 3 losses this season were handed to us by the REFS and not the opposing team on the field. | Please ask me on October 1st if they woke me up. I've literally never heard it before and I'm definitely not tired of it. |

Guys it doesn't matter.
My boy Nick Foles is leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Might as well root for loses so your teams can get better draft picks. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I was watching. Gronk could have definitely used his 265 lbs body to block the much smaller CB. Gronkowski is either the best or second best TE in the league, I have no doubt that he had a chance to make the play. 59 robbed Gronkowski of a chance.

Word to Raptor's mother. The NYJ penalty was the right call, but this was undoubtedly the wrong call.

Yeah, it kinda does. You can make as much contact as you want if the ball's not catchable

Was the batted ball in the Miami game the right call?

But it does. Brady under threw it just enough that Gronk would have had to come forward to the spot where the defender already was. He wouldn't have been able to catch it. Just go back and watch it, it is obvious that the pass was clearly uncatchable. it was undercut by a defender. Gronk's route (even though interupted) caused him to run forward. He was yards ahead of where the ball was picked. It would have been picked regardless, which is why the flag was picked up

Nothing is uncatchable with Gronk. I've seen him make drop down catches for 3 years now. He had a chance.

So he's never dropped a pass in his career?
