im pretty hung up on the "survivor" answer that rod gave. but i went back and checked and it doesnt look like he watched survivor 43 (latest season) so its possible he views it as something he stopped watching and wants to go back to it. still kinda weird tho. the rest of the answers i buy, the car change one isn't that far fetched

Honestly I just don't watch that many shows and the first few I tried to put I realized I had already rewatched: bb, seinfeld, stranger things and I kinda just drew a blank and picked a show that actually qualified and it came to mind as something that would be interesting to go back and watch some of my earlier seasons when I had no concept of edit to see how different they feel. I knew a guy once who kept a raccoon as a pet. He also fed the bears in his woods. He also also used to hide in the trees and shoot in the general direction of hunters who dared step too close to his land.
